Claudia, I had the same symptoms with the breast and they did not find anything wrong but I was still in pain. I changed my primary physician and she told me to get off caffeine and also always have a very light bra (even when I sleep) and that actually helped. No more pain except a couple of days every month I feel tenderness. I hope this helps you and I will be praying for you and all of the Queens! I watch every week ❤️👑🥂

I've had phlebotomist bruise me drawing blood, dentist and oral surgeons attempt to begin working without applying numbing agent. They really do think we're super human.

But checking yourself is not always the way to detect a lump. I am a breast cancer survivor and my tumor was less than a centimeter. I never would have found it. But I faithfully get my mammogram and that is how my lump was detected, thank God. I had surgery and radiation and now am cancer free. Thank you ladies for speaking on this issue, I make it my business to encourage all my black and brown sisters get your mammogram. If they don’t have a doctor, the health department will do your mammogram.💗

Keep in mind when selecting your dr. That all skin folk aint kinfolk...I chose a black female doctor for that reason. She wasnt a bad Dr, but I sensed she wasnt going to listen to my concerns...I have foreign physicians now and they are great. I have had several practioners over the years. Some were white. some were black, I try to go with who will listen and have compassion for my unique situations...

Yes!! I went to gynecologist 3TIMES for same issues that weren’t resolved, after I finally got proper testing and read the provider the riot act it made me see them different. So new gynecologist is on the horizon. Don’t let any provider bully you. As a nurse I always tell the patient to advocate for yourself, know yourself/meds. Don’t let a provider have 100% control over your healthcare!
