Solar 470 SJ Yamaha F40JEHA Poly Intake And Stainless Impeller Install

In this video I do an install on a Russian made poly intake foot for my Yamaha f40 jet pump. I also have to remove all the existing studs and install a kit that has 1/4 long studs. I then proceeded to install a stainless steel impeller and I will use the aluminum one that it can with as a spare in case of an emergency. #solarboats #yamahaoutboards #jetboat

What is the reason to change out a new impeller?

What size intake on that pump? Medium? Also where did you get your impeller and what was the size? Thanks!

Hi, yes I believe it is a medium, I think. The stock impeller size is a 8.24 61/8CB. Those are the numbers stamped on it. I bought the stainless one from Riverside Marine in St Albert , Alberta. Thanks for watching and the comment, take care.
