Brave bird does a lot, but doesn't one shot. And ho-oh can't incinerate down, so it's a decently safe no shield

2:00 This battle is so hard countered but still managed to win. Opponent picks mostly high ranked pokemon in pvpoke. The problem is Pidgeot’s pvpoke ranking is theoretical, highly dependent on the feather dance bait. The player calls all the baits and saves all shields for Talonflame, coming back to win, what a nice win.

Ho-oh is an underrated pkmn in UL imo, it has similar bulk to talonflame only difference is that it has sacred fire instead of flame charge

Talon flame is really strong. Minus using a rock water type with rock type fast move. Paired with trev is amazing. Ho oh is literally just a shield taker. Could put any nuker instead.

For me talonflame is one of the scariest Pokemon..once it gets boosted it is difficult to handly

I ran a line leading Tapu Fini with Giratina altered and Guzzlord in the back and went from about 2250 ELO to 3028 in the last week and hit legend for the first time. It is a pretty consistent team, I think I only lost like 2 or 3 sets total with it. You should give it a try!

For the trev mirrors I run foul play on trevenant as its one less to shadow ball, and as they count they will know ita not shadow ball and asume a seed bomb not sheild then bang super effective damage

I love the open ultra league. I made an aggron, Rayquaza and machamp team (my favourite Pokémon of all time) and gone from 1700 to 2470 elo so far!

14/13/13 is actually a Rank 37 Ultra League Talonflame, that seemed pretty good to me lol! 98.76% of ideal. It's the best one I've caught for UL either way
