Nice and informative video. Your audio is much improved!! Great work! For your next video could you talk about how batteries help defer the cost of time of use charges at peak rate times? I think a lot people only think as batteries for back up use only. It would be nice if people understood the difference between backup and maximize self-consumption.

Thank you. I am happy I got the audio sorted out. I will definitely add the battery suggestion to my to video list. Your support and feedback is really appreciated.

@@MySolarHomeUSA There is a third reason for people to use a battery. If they want to go off grid. Going off grid requires battery storage of energy during the day to be used at night. Also you encourage people to stay away from string inverters. String inverters have less failure points since the entire string is connected to one mppt. Each individual microinverter or optimizer creates multiple additional failure points. Yes, if the mppt fails you lose power for the entire string, however, unlike optimizers and microinverters you do not have to climb on the roof to replace/repair the mppt for your string inverter. You also claim panel orientation has little impact on overall performance. If you input the same exact size of solar array into the free government sponsored online calculator PVWATTS you will see a significant difference between east west north and south facing arrays. Not trying to be critical just trying to help. Thanks for your video.
