I had no bird experience Skyler, but I did watch the eclipse out of my window. Since I’m 93 years old, I didn’t feel like going cross country to to watch it. So I watched on TV and I want to tell you you really got some neat photos.

Well I was not shat on, BUT I left my dogs inside and went outside to watch. At the moment of totality my pups started howling like crazy!!! They howled until the ☀️ came back out. I am talking about up on their tippy toes howling! Crazy weird 😅🎉 What a fun experience 🎉🎉

I was in Lewisville, Tx just north of Dallas. It was without a doubt more emotional than I anticipated it would be. We had just over 3 minutes of totality. So glad you got to experience the entire thing.

I picked up two young children from an elementary school in north Georgia and since every student received a pair of glasses approved to watch the eclipse, the courtyard was LOUD with the cacophony of excited children. But it was the ADULTS I saw who got the most excited…LOL Sorry about the nervous bird, Skyler. 😂

We traveled from our home in NC to Indiana to view totality. We had seen a total eclipse in 2017, and I knew I had to experience another one. People have said it's no big deal, but those are the people who only seen a partial eclipse. Even at 99 percent, it's not the same. We noticed the 360 degree sunset, the temperature drop, and the dark skies. The whole atmosphere seemed different. It's really undescribable. I feel blessed to have seen 2 in my lifetime.

Bird experts have said that the birds start their twilight behavior as the eclipse starts. I was in totality during 2017 and watched a big heavy bee get really confused and kind of... hover, for about 2 minutes. It was wild. It's definitely an experience you'll never forget. Thank you for sharing the experience (but sorry about the bird 😂😂)

Glad you got to see the eclipse. You'll never forget it! Here in Houston we had very heavy cloud coverage and saw nothing and literally 20 minutes after the eclipse the sun comes out.

Hope you had a good time in Texas. My husband and I went to Tyler to see the eclipse. It was about a minute and a half there as it was right at the edge of the path. If you are still in Tyler or return again in the future go and see the rose gardens.

We had perfect weather in Cleveland, Ohio for the eclipse. It was stunningly beautiful and just took my breath away. I feel so blessed to have seen that in such clear skies in my lifetime. No issue with birds, thank goodness!

Watched it in Pa and it was cloudy and didn't get dark but it was so neat. ❤ and I noticed the birds was being very chirpy when it happened and it got really cold when it was almost covered .

I watched from Port Glasgow Ontario 🇨🇦on Lake Erie. Incredible is an understatement. Totality caused the temperature to drop 10 degrees. And created the most beautiful sunset at 3:15 pm. God is powerful. He also threw in a rainbow at the end🌈🌖🌗🌘🌑🌒🌓🌔

Hi Skyler, Wow I loved looking at, listening to and watching this 8 minutes and 4 seconds video all about your Eclipse experience. This was a very interesting, very happy and a very up lifting video. Thank you for sharing your Eclipse experience with us, your Facebook friends. Skyler the Lake you were staying at with your friend did look stunningly beautiful were you were staying to see the Eclipse live. It did sound like such a stunningly beautiful area with the Lake and the birds chirping and one bird pooping on you sounded so funny. Mother nature is a funny thing and God is truly wonderful how he makes the weather suit the Eclipse and made the Eclipse happen in the first place right across America. As I live in Australia I did not experience the wonderful Eclipse like you did. I loved you going over to say hello to a British couple also watching the Eclipse. As you said they were such lovely and friendly couple that were there like you to take in part of our fascinating solar system by watching the Eclipse happen right before their own eyes. I Googled is it lucky if a bird poops on you? And came up with this Answer Good Fortune Across many cultures and religions, being pooped on by a bird is thought to be a sure-fire sign of abundance and prosperity coming your way. The odds of being pooped on by a bird are allegedly less than 1%, so many people buy a lottery ticket after it happens - hey, the odds, might just be in your favours 19th June 2023. It is good to see you get out in nature especially when the Holistic Health Practitioner in me sees how pale your tongue is symbolizing low chi. You can look up Qiqong and even get together with groups who do this and film it on how to harness more chi.
