Solar Eclipse Vacation

Taffyta Muttonfudge, Rancis Fluggerbutter and Candlehead return with another exciting adventure vacation! This time in Dallas, TX, for a total solar eclipse.
Set in April 2024, Taffyta, Rancis and Candlehead go to Dallas, Texas to see the total solar eclipse. But when a security officer tells them that all the pairs of eclipse glasses in Dallas are sold out, Taffyta must try to find a way to earn eclipse glasses before the start of the eclipse on Monday (April 8, 2024 at 1:40pm).
Even though "Partial Eclipse in California" won my votes a few weeks ago, I went with "Total Eclipse in Dallas", because I figured it’d be more fun for the Racers to see a total eclipse.

The first place that I went to in San Antonio was the Alamo, which was the shrine of the Texas Revolution in 1836. Remember the Alamo, as they say there. There were also river taxis in San Antonio, and I rode in one of the river taxis. I also saw the Hemisfair Tower of the Americas and the Henry Gonzalez Convention Center. My brother was living in San Antonio at the time and I went to his graduation ceremony at the Ubniversity of Texas at San Antonio. On Mother’s Day, I went along the Mission Trail. I saw the Mission Concepcion, the Mission San Jose,and the Mission Espada. I also saw the Torch of Friendship in downtown San Antonio. In Austin, I went to the Texas State Capitol, the Bob Bullock Museum of Texas History, and the Lyndon B. Johnson Presidential Library on the campus of the University of Texas at Austin. Back in San Antonio, I went to the Texas Institute of Cultures, courtesy of the University of Texas at San Antonio. I saw the Alamodome there, and I was also there for my brother’s birthday as well. I also knew that San Antonio has a street that is named for one of the Sugar Rush racers
