So much nostalgia returning now to listen to this piece. First heard it during my last year of university in 2008 & hearing it again takes me back & stirs up old emotions I’d long forgotten. Incredible music.

Woa man me too, the other night I just happened to look at the moon and it slapped me on the face with its majesty. It generates a sort of hopeless feeling for me...I want to just give up because I cant fathom understanding this universe...then I listen to music like this again and I dont care about having a purpose - just listening to beauty and learning more about this place is enough for me!

That is the best music video I've seen in a long time......here is what I was thinking.... What happens to an elephant when it dies? It's energy flows into other living things, what happens to a star when it dies? The very same thing.... This situation we are in maybe a tiny fraction of the whole, but its only just getting warmed up!!!! We humans should start working together not fighting each other, we have a long road ahead of us, and many amazing experiences to share

I think I have been listening to this since I first discovered you tube before I bought my first lap top, when I could only use a library computer for a hour. Every time I would listen to it, I was able to escape all the common B.S. problems of the day; forget about being low on money, out of work and living in a bad neighborhood. Things are better now, but I often wonder why life must be so difficult, that the human race cant see past its differences to work together so we might build ships and go to these places. Just the same I enjoy this track.

@TheSwordedge you're very welcome. though deep down inside, i feel that everybody on this planet, regardless of what culture they come from, feels this kind of fascination about the cosmos if they've ever looked up at night. it's just that most people never talk about it with each other, because its such a personal and sacred topic to us... but you just had an extremely good point in that beautiful paradox you stated. so it means then, that humans can never live in a place of pure peace...

i find the mind amazing, though our physical body's and our technology may have limits, and even going the speed of light may take millenniums to reach that distance. our imagination can with out trouble zoom from our earth to the edge if there is one of the universe in mere minutes.

Politics is well behind what it should be considering our technological and scientific advancement. I believe only a Earth-unified government will fix our problems permanently, at present we have a system where each country is highly competitive, each - at heart, intent on rising to supremecy. Yet basic human morality demands more so they try to help the lower countries with aid etc. Harsh, outspoken, what some may call "dreamy" but true - it's the only way we can significantly advance now.

@junfaa Perhaps junfaa... it is the exact opposite. Imagine, rather, that our world, yours in particular, your thoughts and feelings, your perception, sensation, and imagination; your pain and your pleasure, your past, your present and your future... that none of it is insignificant, but entirely significant; indeed, central. For regardless of how deep and far into the vastness of space we explore, the exploration of our inner space never departs from or extinguishes our 'selves'.
@P0ziii12 жыл бұрын
Quite contrary, thanks to wars we developed the technollogy, it's sad but it's true. Human race has always been exploring new territories even when it was harmfull to our specie. Like Stephen Hawking said Aliens won't be different in this matter, we have something to be affraid of... i hope i am wrong. Awesome tune!

@ColdPiper226 but that is only using current resources and knowledge. think about it, 600 years ago if we told people that we could fly, or try and describe an explosion, they would of probably laughed in our face. Who knows what the future may hold.

@underzaoath15 жыл бұрын
Well, I'm not sure if we're close to closing that circle...(This is purely opinion btw) yes the solar system is similar to our theory of the atom, but exactly how are they similar. When I first watched ths video I kind of imagined the stars and planets being literal electrons or any other particle of an atom (thus creating a sort of loop of a universe). However, what if every GALAXY is one such particle in an atom. Next, the universe only expands...therefore I'd conclude we're not close. Whew.

@Raffaeledl No,no,no not like that ! I was on prescription anti-depressants, had been for ages. I meant having a few beers and listening to Solar fields is recommende on a long journey!! Reading back I can see your point, better context,grammer required I think ; ) Ironically though, more people die of alcohol abuse each year as opposed to anti-depressant medication abuse - if there is such a thing???

@underzaoath This may take a few more hundred or even thousands of years. 2012 is the last chance to escape spiritually, most have given up the fight against gravity. In the last days a fire will consume the hearts of man, the beauty will fade and Aten will reveal herself. I am not sure if eternal torment or instant destruction awaits us then. Still , until that time, her beauty is hypnotising.
