Great job!! I did the solar elecrtic thing with a 12T Asend- a little smaller than your 13ft but good size. The best choice for me was to take a canopy for a canoe (maybe $100 on ebay)and cut it down width wise - saved alot of time and provides alot of shade and pannel area (needed in FL). Also very much agree with the battery choice, my 100ahr battery only weighs 21lbs and will run the minikota 30lb thrust for hours all by itself.

What pontoons do you use? I’ve got an Ascend 128x that I’m wanting to motorize. I’m disabled and need backup to paddling. I like what you’re doing. My kayak will take 450 lbs capacity of which I use 215 pounds in my birthday suit. I’m gonna have to be cautious with weight. But I’m still in planning stages.
