@@JodysCraftRoom I'm new to your channel and I have subscribed to see more of your videos. I was watching this one and where you said you cut the cardboard up at the top of the lamp where the bulb goes, I wanted to let you know (if you don't already) that you can actually take a pair of pliers and pull that piece of cardboard out of the socket. It is not attached to anything and should come out with no problems. Hope that helps.

This is just the 🐝 bees knees! What a brilliant idea. I can’t wait to see what lamp styles you find at the thrift store. Now I need you all to put on your thinking caps and help me find a way to hang one of these solar lights from a garden hook (crook?). I need the light up high enough to light my 3 stairs. I park off the alley and it is pitch dark back there except for the solar light near the ground. I read some reviews on hanging solar lanterns and the customers complained they rusted out in the weather and didn’t function after a while. A crafter (Mundee) made one to hang using the geodesic candle holder from DT and black plant chain but I can’t find the candle/votive holder any more. I did buy a solar spotlight from Walmart to try. 🤷‍♀️

I was in Michaels tonight and I saw the perfect black geodesic light forms in several styles. 👍🏻😃 As soon as I get my hands on a 50-60% off coupon, I will purchase one or two, since I have 2 crooks. Still won’t be as cheap as DT but it will do for my purposes and I think it will be far less work. The solar spotlight added more light but its not high enough. I’ll be interested in what you come up with, Jody.
