Jeff, seems like the assumption was lead acid batteries (bulk, absorption, float)…would the answer be the same for LiFePO4 batteries?
@PacificYachtSystems3 жыл бұрын
Good question, LiFePO4 batteries offer the advantage of faster recharge rates right up to nearly 100% of capacity over Lead Acid batteries.

Is that model charger from victron approved for a marine use? (I thought I looked into that one and it was only approved for dock or RV use.)
@PacificYachtSystems3 жыл бұрын
To my knowledge, yes those Victron chargers can be used on boats. Can you share the info where the Victron charger isn't compatible with marine applications.

One question i would like someone to answer is there any difference when using a Domestic and or marine solar panels in a marine environment. The marine shops say there is a difference but no one at present can tell me the difference other than the prices charged at the store. So, if anyone can please let me the physical difference if any or it just B.S. due to in 210mm width commercial panels are now available up to 650 watt per panel. please note that voltage of the larger panels will increase due to the cell count which maybe an issue for standard 12-volt marine systems regards
