howtofightnow.com I have a HUGE pile off MMA technique videos which can be found free at How To Fight Now .com - The Fight Smart Training Program.
Lot's of people want to learn how to fight, but they have no idea where to look. You can find a lot of street fighting videos on KZbin, and a lot of videos titled "how to win a street fight", but most of them are crap. I personally don't want to learn from some dude punching a couch cushion in his back-yard, with his twitchy girlfriend holding his IPhone camera... but that's just me.
I created the fight smart training program to teach people how to fight with REAL TECHNIQUES that work... I gathered them in my career as a professional fighter. If these techniques work in the cage, they will certainly work in a street fight. A lot of times, I had these moves used against me... and it hurt.
I don't care what your purposes are: self-defense, a personal quest, or just to be a more powerful bully... it doesn't matter. My job is to provide you with the realest fighting moves out there, and to teach you how to fight and win every time. Be sure to check out my website... I have far more video on howtofightnow.com than I have in my KZbin channel.... and they're free.... because I'm cool like that.
Check out the website and good luck learning how to punch, how to kick, how to do Jiu Jitsu, how to do Muay Thai kickboxing, and how to do any of the other Keywords that I'm trying to target by writing this channel description.

I know how much that hurts. I took a punch to the plexus once. The best thing about the solar plexus is that if you deliver a nice blow on the spot the adversary will be completely paralyzed. You can't fight if you cant breathe.

Hey trav thanks for the bids on slipping. I used your advice in my boxing classes and it proved very successful. Keep up the good work mate.

Also, Trav, why dont you do a video with strikes and combos (punches, kicks, knees, etc) that aim the plexus? It is a very effective spot for self defense (if you dont want to kill the guy, of course).

***** street fights should not end up on the ground i have also fought my fare share of street fights even though i am 5'9 but i never ended up on the ground and i cannot fight like that. i never give anyone the chance to drag me to the ground and fight never lasted more then 15 seconds (i guess). the reason i said that mma isnt for the street because mma isn't designed for street it is designed as a sport not as fight for survival. there are no kicks to the knee or strikes on the patella, to the groin (there are many ways to hit the groin area), finger jab into the eyes, arm bisectors and a lots more. and no you are not wrong you have a different way of fighting i cannot fight on the ground instead i aim for the soft and more damaging targets.

obviously you are far more experienced then me and i live in india and here the average height is 5'7 to 5'9 i only fought once with a 6'2 and yes it is harder to reach to there face but i never had the opportunity to fight with a pro martial artist like a black belt karate or an mma fighter, although i have fought with local boxers, short guys have to develop speed and stamina and that's why all Chinese arts focus on speed, and striking the opponent's weak points. i hope one day i will also get the opportunity to gain such experience like yours.

Hey FightSmartTrac, i have a amateur match coming up in a few weeks and i need help with how to beat a taller boxwe, i have a mike tyson and mayweather mixture type fighting style because i like to use the peek a boo style on defense to evade punching and couter and then on offense i like to use the shoulder roll and philly shell defense. but idk how to use either of these defensive moves on a 7'0 foot tall guy to get inside on him. please help or make a video. i really need the help, and i'm a big fan of yours and i rather come to you and ask because your the best. i hope you see this comment. god bless

I think punch to the head it not just damaging my opponent but my hands are also protecting me better against a possible counter punch on my head. From the guard head punches can be stronger: I can put more muscles and distance in them. If my opponent is trying a hip escape, or to otherwise throw me out of ballance I can more easily and quicker keep my ballance with my hands not so close to my center of gravity. But the solar plexus is an easier target than an often moving head and a great and creative option to mix up the G&P, for exemple to open the oppenents head guard, or just to keep him guessing

Just wondering if a well trained fighter's abs are in shape and tight is it still going to be effective or is it like the throat that no matter how in shape you are in it's an easy weak spot.

actually pretty smart i have to say. It is really underused. Isn't direct solar plexus attacks forbidden in the cage ? Maybe allowed in K1 but probably not in USA ? I mean a piercing strike could be lethal there if you hit a precise spot
