Well done pal, you stuck with the project through all the trials and tribulations. You want your panels to be 35 degrees up from horizontal in our part of the world.

I'm planning some updates to this project, so keep watching and I'll get video out soon.

Thanks for sharing this. I really appreciate lessons learned documents like this. Your effort is appreciated. My plans are to use an ESP32 but to squirt out the data only 4 times a day. Good Job. I learned a lot from you. I'll let you know how my project goes. I live in Northern Ohio in similar(?) weather.

Hey John, Why don't you update your weather station to a Pi Pico W board and add a few new things to it. The panel should be able to handle the power for it and a 6Volt battery.

Oh, I have some plans for this, just got to find the the time to record and edit it all :-)

good job but better if you can analyze performance through year. and why your raspberry pi was off?
@jeg19723 жыл бұрын
The Raspberry PI was off, because there is not enough solar energy to charge the battery, I'm hoping to do some upgrades and pu out an update within the next few months
