The compressor is just one pump with an internal manifold to the five ports, so they don't multiply or anything if you combine them together after they exit the pump housing. Since it's all coming from one pump, you can simplify the tubing arrangement by just connecting to one port, then using short stubs of tubing to block off the others by connecting them to each other. For example, connect port 1 to 2, use port 3, and connect port 4 to 5. That effectively directs all the pump's pressure through the one port port you're using and blocks off the other four.

Can always try little baking soda and vinegar to try and take some of that sun damage off. Great video as always can't wait to see the ponds fill in.

Polishing those old panels and spraying on a UV resistant clear coat (or a diluted polyurethane) could maybe get you a few more years out of them if the actual solar cells aren't toast. Those headlight restoration kits might be an alternative all in one solution you could try, too. Polyurethane diluted in mineral spirits and spread on lightly with a shop towel worked pretty well for about a year on my car's headlights.

Aim your 100,000 lumen flashlight at the panel and see if it gets the pumps going better on cloudy days.

Things are starting out(4/30) the same as last year...wet and gloomy. Thunder here in central NH from 10AM to 2 PM...even though it is only 45 degrees out. Why the thunder? Damn. I want to hike and ride my motorcycle. Not in the mood for another summer of rain.

2-100watt solar panels, a solar charge controller, 12v marine battery, an inverter ans a large 80l/hr pond aerator would give you much better flow of air and you could use the aerator to lift water up and into your filter via a airlift tube.

those ports on most* pumps are just a simple manifold, some dual port pumps have an individual pump per output however, but that's besides the point, theoretically the most ideal setup you would extend all the lines and merge them all right before the air stone to reduce losses, however i can tell you from experience this is a bad idea; airlines are a little elastic, and with the water pressure pushing back you will have a larger capacity of air between the air stone and the pump... this will result in a "burping" effect where pressure builds and builds then it blasts out of the stone all at once before halting again, a cool effect if that's what you want, but for steady stream of bubbles, just cap the other outputs off and hook to one of them
