It is very smart to fill the mold with a syringe. You get a little bit of pressure that make sure the mold is filled completely. Even with a very complex casting. Very nice work as usual.

Syringe Sucked for me, Resin was to thick with the micro balloons to draw in well. Also your internal mold setup is fire, thanks for that. How are you determining the ballast weight?

By doing tons of experiments what works the best. I usually always start by determining the buoyancy of the body and start my experiments from there.

Awsome lure! One question i had that was missed in most of the videos is what type of metal or wire s the pin that holds the joins together? And is that what you use for all your jointed baits?

@@SolarfallBaits years ago I had a Berkley bait that was a lipped crank bait with a slot for a soft plastic tail. It came with a few options you could use. One tail was like a tadpole tail. Was a cool/unique bait.

By making the body from a boyant material and adding ballast weight in the belly.

Fair point, i personally like long format stuff my self and i think sometimes a lure project deserves a longer video to properly explain the process.
