I have an idea for some Solarballs t-shirt designs: Each of the Outer Planets surrounded by their major Moons with their names provided under their image. Jupiter is reading his book with Ganymede, Callisto, Io, Europa, Almathea, Thebe, & Elara orbiting him. Saturn has a big grin & his eyes closed with Titan, Rhea, Iapetus, Dione, Tethys, Enceladus, Mimas, & Hyperion orbiting him. Uranus is writing in his diary with Titania, Oberon, Umbriel, Ariel, & Miranda hiding behind him. Neptune is just his usual self with his 13 Moons & Triton orbiting him. as someone with ADHD this was so painful. I doubt it was the intention. but having to remember things that are *very important* and being unable to remember them to the disappointment of others. is such a familiar experience. Amazing epesode I love how you can sympathize with both sides. the moons for feeling unrecognized, Saturn for being overwhelmed.

honestly saturn seems likes a nice planet he's even clearly trying to make an effort by writing down their names, the moons just give him too much flax he doesn't even have time to process all the info about them, i mean come on there's nearly 150 moons he has most of which are not very big and more keep getting discovered so he's bound to miss a couple, i mean that's like trying to remember 1000s of random facebook friends that you don't kow most of.. it's also obvious that saturn didn't even mean to intentionally use some moons to make his rings which uranus, neptune and even jupiter also have albeit much smaller than saturn's rings and it's not saturn's fault if moons get too close to him and wind up getting destroyed and saturn displayed obvious remorse upon learning he destroyed some moons at all and even crys not to mention he was clearly worried when they all disappeared for the revolution if anything uranus is worse for even entertaining the notion of his moons crashing into him to get larger and more rings even if it was a joke

I'm happy that Saturn is trying, but I'm kinda sad for the way the moons treated him, I know that the way that Saturn treated them isn't cool either, but, like, there are so many moons- I want to make it clear that I don't want to devalue the moons' disappointment or say that it's wrong for them to feel sad about it, they actually have every right to complain, but idk, I don't think that this was the best way to act, but anyway I think it's just my fanboy feeling about Saturn attacking again.

I think both were being insensitive to each other. Saturn didn't realize he was hurting his moons feelings, we know Saturn is a sensitive planet. He does truly care; he cares a lot, but he also plays favorites and has a golden child. He also comes off as a bit dense and air-headed. He was fully on board with this whole trying thing as soon as it was brought to his attention that the other moons were upset. Though a lot of the other moons, but not all, do, it does look like there were a few who did want to try and take it slow, but others were holding grudges and expected him to get it immediately. due to them spending a lot more time together they may forget how hard it is to remember names and admittedly spheroids in space have some difficult names, they all know each others names because they spent how long together? I know Saturn should know them as well, as he has spent that time with them too. But he was trying, and they didn't see that due to the resentment they already had. He got overwhelmed, and they got mad. Neither's feelings are wrong.

I really see that both sides were actually being insensitive towards each other, and there's no "villain" there, and I'm curious how they're going to resolve this mini conflict, I already have some ideas.

@@fantauva193 I know! I just felt like commenting, really! I like rambling. I think it would be best to go slow. Start with small groups. Either the ones who are willing to try still. or by size, either. Titan had the right idea: baby steps, but he didn't realize what he thought was a baby step was really difficult, as it isn't difficult for him. Titan knows all the moon's names; that's easy for him, and he doesn't realize it's hard for Saturn. He thought if Saturn gave it a serious try, he should be able to just get it, but he didn't. That wasn't a baby step. A baby step may be doing small groups, with them getting to know Saturn and Saturn getting to know them, and when he can get the names of the names of the smaller groups right without reminders, then they move to the next group. It would be how I would do it, and something I think would be a better baby step. Though it looks like Saturn is going to work on it on his own, Saturn is probably one of the nicest planets there. Most of his flaws are that he plays favorites without truly realizing that his actions hurt others.

Rhea is also the only moon (I think) that has rings. Kinda cute how she’s mimicking her parent planet! EDIT: Apparently, Cassini camera images of Rhea did not show evidence of rings. It appears that whether or not Rhea has rings is currently unresolved.

Well its not confirmed yet, even cassini couldn't observe it, but i guess certainly we can one day detect it Because the only reason we suspect its existence are the material coating lined craters around rhea's equator suggesting rings could have crashed in the process which suggests rhea maybe have rings

I haven't watched any episodes of this (yet), but my best friend is obsessed with space and planets and all that sort of stuff. She's never mentioned this show by name but I know she really really loves it and that makes me so happy. I love listening to her talk about all the random space facts she's learned and I love silently watching her draw fan art for this in the back of my history class. I feel so bad for Saturn, he doesn't deserve to go through this. He has the largest number of moons of all the planets in the solar system, no one would be able to remember ALL of those names all the time, especially since lots of them are harder to pronounce than others. Jupiter said it best, naming all of the moons is like going to a party and expecting to know everyone on a first name basis. He is trying his best though because he DOES care about his moons, not just Titan. I feel like the moons are asking too much of Saturn and are being unreasonable with him. I hope things will get better as time goes on, because it will take time, as Charon said at the end of the moon revolution. I just can't stand that Saturn is going through all of this, he's a gentle giant that never deserved to be treated like this. I feel like the moons treated him worse than he ever did to them. But he really is trying his hardest, and that's all that matters, I just hope it doesn't hurt his health.

I have an idea for some Solarballs t-shirt designs: Each of the Outer Planets surrounded by their major Moons with their names provided under their image. Jupiter is reading his book with Ganymede, Callisto, Io, Europa, Almathea, Thebe, & Elara orbiting him. Saturn has a big grin & his eyes closed with Titan, Rhea, Iapetus, Dione, Tethys, Enceladus, Mimas, & Hyperion orbiting him. Uranus is writing in his diary with Titania, Oberon, Umbriel, Ariel, & Miranda hiding behind him. Neptune is just his usual self with his 13 Moons & Triton orbiting him. I can see why Saturn is so stressed out. It’s like a school teacher trying to remember the names of every student in every class they teach. I wormed up to saturn with this wideo, seeing him try instead of act like everything was fine and try to push everything under a happy attitude was something else. And now we can understand him. Hov he has troble with remembering all in small time. I like how solarballs developes their caracters. Back then they were some talking objects giving us the interesting facts of space. Memorizing 146 names of celestial bodies is really hard in general. So I do feel bad for Saturn for failing to remember all of his moons’ names, especially since he really tried.
