The entire cast and crew are just so welcoming with all that you feel you are a part of their tight knit family. I believe that is why they are so popular and they have taken d&d to new heights. Most DMs have character and shop descriptions ready to go off the fly just in case they're needed. This is much more important for someone like Matt, who is doing it in front of a large audience. The character (name/description/ect.) and the shop name was already probably stuff he planned for, just in case. Finer details are likely off the fly.
