i watch this over and over and never get tired, I am totally a hardware guy and my knowledge in coding is almost null, but I have some questions 1. The GDI corruption is made by spamming data patterns into the VRAM/Window manager? 2. Is the "melodic" part resampling the last half second of the windows XP Startup? As PCM files require so little cpu power to be played back, is that done that way? 3. How many bytes did the MBR payload take? I know its assembler (c perhaps), but looks complex. I bet is enough to trash any partition record to the point of no return (at least without using a full disk scan like gpart) 4. Some mates and I are very interested in that payloads, and we could donate something if you wish to make a harmless edition, or a dump of the MBR payload

hi there, thanks for the comment, i will answer your questions 1. it really isn't as advanced as you think, it creates a bitmap in memory, draws pixels to it and draws the bitmap back to the screen 2. no it is not, the audio is made only within math equations and nothing else 3. an mbr payload is always 512 bytes unless you make a bootloader, it was very simple to do, but if you're talking about when it deletes every drive sector, it will still be recognized as a partition it's just that everything is a bunch of zeros (above windows xp this will not work and will max out at 1024 sectors from the beginning of the disk) 4. i will not make a harmless version of monoxide because it ruins the point, and makes it boring, and you can dump the mbr manually in your vm disk just look it up on google, it is 512 bytes at sector 0. also please do not give me any money as i don't even have a way to receive the money and this was simply made for fun and entertainment, nothing else but thank you for your comment and 'donation request' anyways, i hope i answered all your questions

Solaris probably has a PE Loader within the Bootloader that is 512 bytes. The 512 MBR loads the bigger kernel and that bigger kernel is 1MiB at most, So Solaris has a NovaLDR within the MZ signature.

I see an image of a random object posted and then I see it, I see it. "Oh that looks kinda like the among us guy" it started as. That's funny, that's a cool reference.
