So many movies have been filmed here. Not just interiors (on sound stages) but fully functional exteriors. As I watched this, my mind was jogged with imagination, whilst visualizing the locale of all of the various films that were produced there. I wish I could watch this with someone who's familiar with the history of Pinewood. Great video. Immensely enjoyed it. Cheers.

"THE LAST DAYS OF POMPEII" & "SUPERGIRL" were both filmed here in 1984, on the back lot behind the 007 sound Stage, I was working on Pompeii and took still shots of both sets, which are on my channel, if anyone is interested in seeing them, and the last photo taken of the original 007 Stage, as a week after on the 27th June 1984 it burn down. The impressive 1/2 Mile Smallvile IL Supergirl set, and Large Pompeii set are beautiful to see for any film buffs out there, and is one of several TV & Film related nostalgia videos on my channel, Pinewood has changed a lot since those days, so many new buildings. road layout and a second large entrance, even the pool area has changed from my photos in 1984.

+DocHoll72 Haha I know they have a whole Millennium Falcon built there right now! I flew this before Star Wars started filming on purpose! I don't want any spoilers! :D

It would have been nice if you perhaps explained the lay-out of the studios, with low level background music. To have a initial view of the blades, & lots of vibrational noise spoilt this for me. Just being honest, its best to know this I think.

Yeah I filmed this over 5 years ago, before drone popularity exploded, and proper creative types started making those beautiful videos set to music etc... This is back in the early days of drones when we just hit record, flew, then uploaded the raw footage to KZbin... Things are very different now.

@@solarisfire There was speculation that Amazon, might make some deliveries via drone. When you think about it the Black Market in U.K prisons probably do utilize these flying devices.

Won't before before bad guys are equipping these with a few grenades to drop at will over any target. Much easier than getting a vehicle into the same area.

A few hundred feet... This was so long ago it's impossible to know now. But it looks higher due to the wide angle gopro.
