Damn near all the routes to this conversation are foreshadowing. The one where you say "I'll restore what was" all of what he says to that comment is him trying to validate his plan. Which I can now understand why he approves of that one more than the others.

I don’t know if they “recycled” expressions/dialogues, but a lot of romance ones appeared with him and my high approval Lavellan 😳 I just realized... Also, I actually had the Fade kiss that ended in no kiss (I was a dumbass and I didn’t choose the heart option) and later the balcony scene with Solas awkwardly confessing his feelings and walking away... oh my god, that would make him secretly in love with my Inqui? Holy Jesuschrist, I KNEW IT!!
