OMG I love your homes, your concept and especially the reason you started this business. I have been following you for 4 years now. I understand everything has gone up in price, costs are outta this world. I have coveted the Birmingham and Charleston models. Your prices have gone up SOOO much tho. It's no longer anywhere near what it was. No appliances in this model and 80K?? This breaks my heart. Had I not been following you and know what the costs were, maybe it would seem different. Still love you guys, please stay true to your original concept and help ppl. Sending positive thoughts and the future looks bright in Tennessee, keep us little ppl in mind, we are seniors and hope you'll understand we all deserve a home to call our own. ❤❤❤❤

Just a note , you can do almost everything in a tinyhouse that you do in a big house..... you may have to scale down something but if you love it you can have it all. 🎉🎉🎉❤

Amanda, you are looking beautiful as always and your outfit is really cute. Congratulations on your weight-loss and hope you have continued success. Randy you are looking quite handsome yourself and what you are doing to look and feel good keep moving forward. Ace is just as adorable and handsome too. I like the concept of removing the dormers and stairs but personally I am thinking instead of a closet in Livingroom I would use the space for a slightly larger shower and storage area in Bathroom for towels, toiletries and cleaning supplies. Blessings and Peace 🕊 ☦️ 🙏 GOD Bless America ❤️ 🇺🇸

I just love your positivity! I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and had to change my diet. My house burned down on Thanksgiving and I broke my ankle and leg for Christmas. We lost everything, so I knew God was telling me it was time for a change. Someone even broke in and stole everything left... even my family Bibles from the 1800s. I knew it was time to pick myself up in a big way and find GOOD people in the world. God bless you on your journey and in life. You remind me there are still good people in the world. A friend took us in when family failed us, so I now know that sometimes you have to make your own family. People in your tiny community have managed to do that. You and Randy are to be commended for what you have accomplished.

Interesting concept removing the double-dormers and stair access to loft area. The newly created closet in living-room is a bonus for sure. Just curious, any possibility of eliminating the closet area in living-room, and use the extra space gained in bathroom to install a 48” tub/shower combo? Love the Charleston!

I like the loft for growing mushrooms in seed containers. Fellow carnivore here, but it's not a diet or life choice for me, I simply eat meat. And eggs and some cheese and sour cream. I don't do plants as food, outside of lemon or lime for marinades. The occasional olive oil when some recipe I really want calls for "cooking oil". I prefer lard or bacon grease, but those don't always work in aoli type recipe or marinade. Olive oil usually stands in quite well. There is a growing body of evidence that humans actually do really well on a high animal fat and low plant sugar diet. I didn't wait for the research... I just figured if I crave it and feel good afterwards, it's probably good. If I crave and feel bad afterward, it probably wasn't. Flash forward 30 years and the research seems to be catching up to my "how do I feel after eating that" opinion. I was supposed to be dead of heart disease or cancer by now... instead, I live the life of someone a third of my age IF they are in good shape and health! When I come home from a day out doing whatever, I have craved never once a plate of broccoli... but just the thought of a fatty ribeye will have me drooling before even one side is seared off.

Question. Would it not be possible to move the closet as you call it, in the livingroom to the bathroom, have a corner shower moved to the outer wall in the bathroom, that leaves two open sides on the shower which will give more of an open feel in the bathroom, turn the washer and dryer around so it is added to the bathroom instead, remove vanity, I would use the sink in the kitchen instead. Now the bathroom is rectangelur and more roomy. The living room have a wall instead for people to put up the tv on or an entrens furniture. Remove the ceiling above kitchen, that space above the bathroom is plenty for extra storage and that will make the kitchen more open and light, keep the opening above the door to the bedroom, but close it to the storage space above the bathroom. If that is enough space for the air to go through If you can make pocket doors instead, you now have that wall space where the stackables use to be to build even more closets, like the one already excisting and you also get the extra storage space above that one, and its a double big If I lived in USA I would have wanted one like that and have it in the mountain, green roof and brown walls on the outside to match the nature Just a thought

Amanda you look wonderful! Can someone please explain to me the difference in price with this home? Why more money on the mountain? Thanks
@chezmoi4211 ай бұрын
The lower price is just the house, you can take it away for that price. The higher price includes a leasehold on one of their properties across the road, on the Mountain. That lump sum is like a rental advance that covers upfront development costs so the monthly rental can be kept at rock bottom (I think it's $300 on the Mtn, but check with sales to confirm), instead of obliging tenants to pay higher rent for the rest of their lives.

@chezmoi4211 ай бұрын
@@terrifiorelli9819You've been here long enough to know better than that. The 30K is an advance payment to cover development costs and keep the rent low, so they don't have to take out a loan and then charge you $600+ per month to pay it off. It amortizes over a few years to compare very favorably with rent in similar places, and the longer you stay, the more you will have saved.

Oh, so the $200/month (pretty sure on the mountain) on the last recent video of yours I watched is now $300/month. (Existing home with creek behind it, sold super fast.) Hmmm. Also, I remain confused about the $30,000 more to keep it in the community. If it's to BUY the lot it's on, maybe. If not, nah. I'm guessing it's partly for maintenance but mostly to finance further expansion. Not sure why you include the loft in this model as it appears it's almost useless except for a grandchild to visit (with rails) and/or air circulation. Could (maybe) use for storage but would block airflow. In the models with steps, might want to consider adding drawers built in to 2-4 of those steps (or all). Of course would add to craftsman's expenses, but additional storage worth it. Craftsmanship great! Just my annoying two cents.
