I have a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. With the 4.0 6 and I love mine. It has 149 thousand miles and is still running strong.

Thanks for this review. I live in Australia, and my Jeep Cherokee is exactly the same as this one, except for the steering column being on the right side. We drive on the left side of the road. I drove mine right through the Outback from Adelaide to Alice Springs during the height of the Australian summer. 110 degrees F all the way and back again. No problems at all. It is a great vehicle.

I bought one of these for my first car, love the I6 engine! Mine has 134k on it and it is light green in color with the beige cloth interior. I love the Selectrac 4X4 and the 42RE automatic! My Jeep typically has the same options as this one, it had the tape and CD radio when I got it but I put in a Kenwood Bluetooth stereo with HD Radio, the standard sound system is pretty good... it is the most comfortable vehicle I've ever been in! (:

Hey Jake, what's your honest opinion of late 90s/early 2000s Jeeps? Reliability wise, bang for your buck?
@Jakeman2164210 жыл бұрын
Bang for your buck there really isn't much there. Anything in good shape you're gonna pay A LOT and anything that's not still isn't worth it. The 4.0 is one of the best engines Chrysler EVER made, the 4 cylinders (Cherokee, wrangler) are terrible and the 4.7 is absolute garbage.
@HiAnthonyA10 жыл бұрын
Aha so your opinion of Chrysler has been discovered! I agree with ya, Chrysler is total junk. I just asked that to see what you had to say about Chrysler haha.
@jacksmith465810 жыл бұрын
The 4.7 is nowhere near horrible. We had a 2001 limited and lasted 138,000 miles until it got totaled
@HiAnthonyA10 жыл бұрын
138k is nothing to be proud of, that's not even a lot. if it made 238k, then that's another story. Honda's can get 350k-400k out've them.

Hello everyone I need advice, I wanna buy grand Cherokee 2001-2004 which model is better and V6 or V8 is better and why. Thank you in advance.
@tylee79643 жыл бұрын
I personally don’t think or know if ur still looking to buy one but I own the v8 and I love the v8 mainly over the v6 because of the performance of in witch the v8 gives considering it’s such a light suv. The v8 also produced a lot of torque witch is a lot of fun when driving

It's not a V6 it's an inline 6 cylinder 195 horsepower 325 foot pound torque And way better than the 4.7 litre by far, bullet proof engine
