By far the best car I have ever owned. I had a black 2007 Milan with tan leather interior. Great sound system. Sold it for something newer and have yet to find something that makes me as happy as I was with that car.

I did drove a 2006 Mercury Milan in the same color car but, the interior was 2 tone on the seats. I drove it a couple weeks back in late April till early May. My 2011 Mercury Milan was being fixed after hitting a deer in early April 2016. I didn’t have a car for a couple weeks. Even my parents didn’t loan me any of their vehicles and one vehicle was dead at that time. My mother won’t loan her vehicle at that time because she was afraid of me driving it. Even my father needed his,too. I was glad to get my vehicle back and noticed the steering wheel was loser than the older one in driving. I totaled it in early December 2016 with another deer. 8 months from each other. I never got hurt in them. The first one that I was shaken from after hitting the deer till the following afternoon. I saw my car being towed away from my parking spot the following afternoon with my father. My father drove it from this one road that I pulled into to turned around in. He parked it in a wrong spot. So I backed into this one spot in the parking lot. Another neighbor drove his car behind of my car being lifted on a tow truck. That was a bad idea for him if the car accidentally went backwards into his car. He didn’t even waited. I don’t have my 2011 Mercury Milan no more. I was driving my late father’s 2008 Ford Expedition for 3 months just after driving another loaner vehicle which was a 2009 Ford Escape for a little bit over a week accidentally because of the weather in December 2016. I gotten a 2015 Ford Escape in late March 2017. I almost had it for 5 years till it died on me from an oil leak. I gotten a 2020 Ford Escape SE in black in mid March 2022 with the help from my sister.

I have a 2006 with much less mileage. From what I can tell, there were no changes between the '06 & this '07. After 3 months, the ONLY drawback on the Merc Milan is the wide berth you'll need for turning, which is a common Mercury issue.

Would you say that the Milan is a reliable car to own? Not pricey to maintain either?

I have a Mariner and I LOVE it. The only annoying thing is every winter the low tire pressure light comes on no matter how much I fill my tires.

I owned this car for 4 years and it was nothing but problems. I put double what I paid for the car into it with repairs. It would break down every month or 2. What a nightmare. FORD stands for Fix Or Repair Daily.

Ford owns Merc, Lincoln, and Mazda. They’re all the same car. A Mercury Mariner is just a Ford Explorer. A Merc Milan is just a Ford Fusion. Just slightly different shapes and looks. Lincoln Town Car is the same as Ford Crown Vic and Merc Grand Marquee

Rach Marie Pretty sure the Mariner was the Merc version of the escape and the Mountaineer was the Merc version of the Explorer
