Nice to see that Mercedes-Benz brought back a 6 cylinder engine/model to the SL lineup. It's been absent since the redesign on the SL in the early 2000's. Not everyone wants a huge V8 or V12 in an SL. I can only imagine how much it costs to maintain this car when all that gadgetry breaks.

Kenneth White i knw they dont break at the same time but if you learn how to fix few things your self, you should be good to go..am looking for 96-2002 SL 600 or 320 with pano roof

I know for a fact that the 600's, even though they are awesome, cost a ton more to maintain versus the 320s of the past. The 600's wiring hardness alone is over $1,000 just for the part. And those were the years that they had a ton of problems with the insulation on those wiring hardnesses failing. If I was you, I would definitely look at the 320's. the 6 cylinders are way more durable and cost a lot less to keep running. They may be the entry-level SL but in the long run, youll thank me for it!!
