Very, very nice unit. So glad they went with a LIGHT-COLORED wood for the cabinetry. Dark woods are so drab and depressing! I’d say Winnebago scored a home run with this trailer. The ONLY changes I’d like to see is getting rid of propane altogether for the stove/oven and going with an induction stovetop and convection-microwave oven.

Regarding the oven: Can't do that and still have this be called an "RV" due to RVIA code requirements. That once minor detail COMPLETELY changes things like financing.

I am looking at a used one of this model where they did replace that sofa with a dual recliner, it looks like they found a recliner that fits perfectly inside the frame of the original sofa. the lesson here is never say you can't

Thanks for the great review. I'm 6'2'' and I think you're a little taller....do you have any issues with the 6'5" interior height of the Winnebago Minnie line? Things like the door frames, ceiling lights and shower come to mind....Thanks.

Only area to watch is in the shower. You'll need the skylight. Otherwise you're fine.

I was trying to look....but I am not well versed as I need to be. What type axles and suspension does the 2401 have now? My wife really likes this model once I convinced her a 1/2 ton gas truck and a much heavier camper going thru the mountains would not be a fun experience. LOL

Traditional LCI axles, leaf spring. Effectively Normal for the trailer segment of the industry.

can you upgrade the tires to say Goodyear Endurance Made in USA tires before it leaves the dealer? Also, we plan to take some plant tours in Indiana soon, wife does not know yet, and hope to scoot a few miles north to meet ya. When they plans come together, I would like to schedule a day when you are there working.

and one more question before I drive ya nuts....the gel coat. Now with bass boats, had one forever, I know the sun is the killer to the gel coat. My ? is wouldn't the pearl or light colors stand up better over time than say the dark blue? I would of course keep the camper washed, waxed with UV protection, and covered when not on the road.

@@Markisuncfan *TIRES:* Easily swapped before you take possession. *SUN ON THE GELCOAT:* The darker the skin, naturally the more the sun will affect it. However, Winnebago's fiberglass supplier has recently announced they will no longer offer their darker colors to streamline their own production processes. Thankfully, their most popular colors Platinum, White, and Champagne will still be available.

Ease of memory. I have a bajillion things flying thru my head. I was a grand kid camping with my grand parents. That's my frame of reference and simply what comes to mind. Insert whatever you'd like. Call it "mother in law" or "unruly husband" sleeping space. Regardless of name the function is understood through our walk-thrus I think.
