Spring Special! FREE SHIPPING TO YOUR DOOR INCLUDED IN PRICE!! 10,500 ORIGINAL MILES ABSOLUTE TIME CAPSULE SURVIVOR! 1982 CHEVROLET CITATION X11 SPORT HATCHBACK This is a two owner vehicle was purchased new and stayed with the original owner for over 30+ years until his passing. The second owner was a family friend or acquaintance with the original owner as I found out and purchased it just because it was such a rare, immaculate and unique car. Since purchased the X-11 has always been kept indoors and stored in a climate controlled environment. Since he purchased the car he believes that he has not even driven it 500 miles. 2.8 Liter High Output V6, Tuned exhaust, ps, p/Disc brakes, p/locks, am/FM radio, cold Air Conditioning, car shows absolutely no wear, smells like a new car. All original paperwork And Documentation included, museum quality automobile. New BFG Radial T/A's will be installed due to original tires being 42 years old and I don't feel safe selling the car with those original tires on it, they will be wrapped, Bagged and stored to go with the car to new owner. This is a rare car. I cannot find anything comparable to this car. It may be the lowest mileage Citation X-11 in existence! This car was purchased new, driven for a year or so and then placed on blocks in a climate controlled garage with about a dozen other cars. It set there for about 30+ years until the estate cleared out the collection. The car is bone stock original. The carb was cleaned and the fuel tank was replaced with an OEM tank and sending unit. It was done only as a precaution and the original still with the car. The car starts, runs, and drives like a new car. See detailed video here: Click Here As it was the trend in the 80’s if you remember the aftermarket Ziebart sunroof and rustproofing this one had one installed. Luckily they did a good job and it’s in great shape and has no issues at all. Just by looking at the car you can tell it's never seen and inclement weather. This car is sure to be an investment and I challenge you to find a more original perfect 1982 Citation X-11

My first car was my parent’s 1980 X-11. For my high school graduation present, my dad had the car painted and graphics updated to match the newer X-11 style (it was different for the 1980 model). 4-speed…would do some serious burnouts! Ours was reliable up through 120,000+ miles!

Thanks for sharing this. Brings back plenty of memories. Bought a silver 85 that sat on the dealer lot for almost a year because it didn’t have air conditioning. My new wife and I got to enjoy the car for only a few months because it was stolen from our apartment parking lot. Yes, it was stolen. The theory was the thieves were after the wheels, but since I had put McGard wheel locks on it, it was faster to just take the whole car.

I had a 1981 Citation, light blue, bought brand new, $7000. It had a 4-cylinder 2.5 l. engine, factory 4-speed trans., no AC, bench seats. It was a 4-door family car. I kept it 25 years and it still looked new. It had 57,000 miles. A very quiet, smooth riding car. When sold, it still had the original tires. It could get 33 mpg on the highway.

Stunning, and what a gem! That tuned exhaust was also stainless. Could only be more perfect with a 4-speed. I had a red '81, bought it new. Mine had no problems for 16 years and 130k miles, until it was rear-ended at a stop light. Was a sad day.

i had a 81 x11 4 speed, bought at the chevy dealer in no hollwood, it was one of the most fun cars to drive i ever owned, surprised alot of people how quick it was, only reason i sold it my new wife didnt drive a stick, bought her a 86 thunderbird elan with a 302 v5 another great car. i sold the x11 to a friend and they drove it for years.

1985 was the last yr for the citation. The x11 package came with a one year only 2.8 LTR V6 with multi port fuel injection. Also, the citation dashboard finally had horizontal hvac and radio controls. In my opinion, 1985 was the best yr for the X11!

I swear the wheels and that little lip spoiler make this car look 10 times better than the base Citation. My first car was a low miles Citation with the 2.5L. My only complaint was how SLOW it was.

My father had a silver 1981 X11 with the 4 speed transmission. Neat car just not all that well built of one. I remember we had a lot of issues with interior bits falling off or not fitting together all that well. So it is a quite a feat this one looks so good. We did have everything fixed, but have seen lots of Citations where the owner never bothered. These originally had the rear hangers on the shelf, they usually broke pretty quick. So I am guessing the owner found a non stock solution. These did do very well in theit claaa at the SCCA races at Summit Point raceway back in the day.

As a 5yo whose dad had brought home the launch brochure I wondered why there was no 5-door X-11. As much as I'd like to think I was a prodigy who realized GM was sleeping on the sport sedan trend even at that age, it was probably simple pattern recognition.

i remember the day ipicked up my 81 x11 at no nollywood chevy dealer and the service manager came out and said to me dont run that engine past 7000 rpm or you will roll the main bearings. i found out what he was saying, what a smooth free reeving motor it was. i had a 1982 s10 pickup with the standard v6 and a 5 speed, the worst car i ever owned, it was a dog.
