I do love the Sea Otters! That's an absolutely cracking boat to modernise, LED lighting, spruce up of the inside, bit more solar and you're right as rain.

Perfect for one person to live aboard. Providing the heating is good.

Horrendous to live aboard in winter, polystyrene insulation, walls running with water in a morning, the voice of experience! Otherwise, a fantastic boat
@steveelliott285Ай бұрын
@@talesfromthetiller Nope. It’s fine. If you want perfection then don’t buy a narrow boat, go to a bed and breakfast.

29k ? Man, 3 years ago, these smaller canal boats were around 13-15k. The cost of living crisis , rent and lack of housing is really making these things expensive

Smaller boats are so clever in their use of space. Quite remarkable that it has separate shower and loo compartments.

Lovely boat, and more of a TARDIS, with so much in such a small space!

Usual water damage on some or the internal window frames, had to replace 2 of mine. Took some time but I found a local joinery shop that made them for 35 pound each, absolute bargin

Lovely l'al boat. Great use of space and nice interior finish.

Clever bed design. You can have a huge bed at night but still have 2 beds for day napping - something you often can't do with a lot of cross beds. Or keep 2 separate beds if you have an argument before bedtime. Only change I'd make i to make the single beds a bit wider and the gap between smaller.
@LMC232Ай бұрын
All those separate bits wreck your back 😔
@EASYTIGER10Ай бұрын
@@LMC232 Yes, I'd have fewer bits
@EASYTIGER10Ай бұрын
I'd have the shower and loo in the same room and use the space for a washing machine/ storage

If some of the design concepts were put in a boat just 10ft longer, it would make a superb live-aboard for 2 people.

She seems s nice little summer boat but no good in the winter, terrible condensation, in the one I know anyway. That dinnet should have been the other side of the kitchen, so increasing the lounge area. Who pn earth wants all those births? That big one is very small, only being 6ft long. Vastly overpriced at £30,000.
