For an older boat it’s very nice in side and a good liveaboard for someone who doesn’t want to cruise the whole of the canal system

Very nice. I don't know if it's because it is so well kitted-out and homey, but it feels like it uses space so much better than most boats of this size. Everything is still thoughtfully put together, but it's all just a little bigger and easier to navigate than on smaller craft. Perfect for a liveaboard.

@Kevin Wheatley I agree. There was a boat on here recently called bunny I think. They had gates on the back deck,, to stop kids and animals falling into the water. sometimes the most simple designs can have an enormous effect on the health and safety and well-being of others... Great idea

Rugby boats have a map themselves which show the canals navigable by length of boat.

I think your restrictions will be the northern areas; the south typically has wider and longer locks.. If you'd like to see everywhere; you're best looking at a 57ft; narrowboat. This is the optimum size. Some boats build into the front deck on a 57ft to get extra space.

@@liamhainsworth26 58 feet is a go anywhere boat. some folks say you can go anywhere on a 60 footer if you go diagonal in the locks and have the rudder hard over but i wouldnt like to attempt going up-to Ripon on one.

A thoroughly beautiful boat - the nicest you’ve shown in some time, I would say. Well-appointed, well-furnished. Maybe it’s just me, but I scratch my head in puzzlement at why a seller would withhold something as silly as a television set from the sale. Are those two TVs family heirlooms or something? I think I would just leave the boat as-seen in the tour, and shop for a new TV. And did I hear correctly - the throw from the armchair? Joke, right? If it were me, I think I’d either say goodbye to the throw, or I’d remove it from view for the tour. And definitely remove the porta-potty for the tour; it would make me concerned that the pump-out doesn’t always work... Just a thought. It remains a very beautiful boat.
