For those who can't read Thai, the sign at the beginning says that whole chicken is 150 Bahts ($4.16 USD), half a chicken is 75 Bahts ($2.13 USD), and that sticky rice is 5 Bahts a pack. Great deal, even greater considering that this shop is in Bangkok. Wow.

I spent 5 days in Bangkok about 15 years ago and i think I had 1 meal in an actual restaurant. The rest were all street food and it was amazing. Even if you can't read the signs, just point to what looks great, hold out some coins in your hand and they'll take what it costs, nothing more. Such a great experience.

Is this saying that people generally cant count??..However, just about everyone running street stalls in Bangkok know how to tell you the price in English!

Was just discussing this with the sister today - she's been everywhere - her No. 1 Street food / Real bustle City is Bankok. Her comment was "New York thinks it's It & never stops - Bankok is It & never, ever stops. In comparison, New York is a sleepy town".

No rotisserie system - much the same product output without that cost/complexity. Plus the "Ovens" are super-basic & cheap to produce - a very good System for roasting chicken in bulk. The stuffing adds flavour & differentiates the product too. Very smart way to go. I like.

I was thinking the same thing about them needing to cleaning the grills and then I was thinking to myself… Maybe that’s what gives it flavor. My grandmother used to cook on cast-iron pans and she said the more buildup on the pan the better the food tastes. I think it’s called seasoning the pan. Idk. As the video went on and I saw that cutting board, again my fear kicked in. How well do they clean it? Lol if I was there on vacation I would throw caution into the wind and eat that chicken anyway. It looks delicious
