SOLD - Pickled Pelican, 57'6" Reverse layout semi trad 2007

A lot of positives in this boat with one or two small negatives. First the negatives, why has the owner not blacked the boat in four years, unless it was epoxy two-packed, but I didn't hear or read that mentioned. Second, I'd want this boat to have one more battery and solar added as well as an extendable width bed. Now to the many positives. First off, I've never seen a boat before with three gas burners and one electric, could be handy if you ever ran low on propane. Second, I love the full-size side by side fridge and freezer!. Third, the Galley looks almost new and the reverse layout is a real plus for many. Fourth, love the walk through bath with pump out toilet and the sink is very stylish. Fifth, always love when the wood stove is located in the middle of the boat for more even heat distribution. Sixth, The washing machine squirreled away in the Bath, a real bonus. Seventh, recent repaint and low time engine for a 13 year old boat. I do believe the thousand per foot price is fairly applicable to this boat, especially if solar added-in were negotiated with the price. If I were to buy this boat, I would likely glue tongue and groove wood to the ceiling and paint it white. I would then either paint the upper sidewalls a light color or do tongue and groove here at a 45 degree angle. The all oak plywood look to me, is just way too dated, a little paint and T&G would really modernize this boat if you DYI. Finally, I would also update the flooring with wood planks and Tile in the bath. I think this boat won't last long, it is well fitted out.

I'm not a fan of carpet in bathrooms and would like an extra battery or two (plus some solar panels) but all in all a really nice boat. Not the least bit surprised to see she's under offer so quickly.

Very well designed, just lacking a dinette, the huge folding table and chairs take up the same space without offering a spare bed and lots of storage.

I would buy it only for the superb decision of the large 12v freezer and separate fridge! Bath is nice for being so large. But for that, she's rather plain.

Only downside is it's due for a blacking, and no solar panels. But for the price, you could do both and still be ahead. I am liking reverse layouts more and more, though I'd rather have a trad over a semi myself. If I was in the market I'd have to consider this one. And I don't even mind the name

Nice boat but needs blacking straight up , current owner should have done that before selling . Great galley , fridge and freezer , that will be a drain on the batteries, needs solar too . 57k a bit much , 50k more the mark :-)

Yes its not for everyone, I love to cook, don't drink and don't like crowds so for me it is ideal.
