fwiw here's my daily consumption: Morning: water, 4 eggs, vitamin K (the full K) with D (only way it works), an anti-acid, fish oil and krill oil (most important is the krill for me), then Evening: meat (anything goes), water, maybe sweet potatoes but not necessary, and liquid selenium, potassium, calcium, and magnesium before bed cause it makes me sleep deep with hard dreaming, and then as well 7 drops of iodine in water before bed (makes me sleepy too) The doctor I follow who swears by iodine says to do 10 drops but for years I'd just done 1 to 2, but after doing 4, 5, 6, or 7 I can tell a difference.

Hey dude happy you got it sold. I have learned alot from you. Keep us informed about the journey. I want to move there someday and you have covered many subjects that I wanted to know about living there and this is one of them as I am 73 and in good health but you never know what life will throw at you at my age. I really need major dental work. Cost of living in Hawaii and the culture here sucks for a single old white boy from Nevada. The cops are assh... s. I would love to get a long lease on a small farm. Find me a Privince Girl and live off the land like I do here. Getting medical care is so important and I only have Medicare A&B & it don't cover shit here. I have to pay cash for dental & hearing aids . My assets are about $50,000 if I liqudate. Then I get $2000 on my Social security each month till I kick the bucket. Got nothing holding me here. I am used to heat & humidity and lots of rain here in the Puna Rainforest. I am a biker with decades of riding big bikes. Good mechanic . I will eat anything and love tropical fruit and fish & chicken & pork. Not much on rice unless I got Soy Sauce. 😂. Love bananas & coconuts. Die for avacadoes . I cook with a wok on ooen fire. I have a dog I want to bring along. I love boats and diving. So there ya go. Get better. Love to meet you some day. In the mean time I live vicariously through your cool downhome videos. Aloha ❤

Aloha dude, I’m a former So. Californian who used to visit all over the state of Hawaii, and I’ve been to Philippines most of which reminds me of Hawaii the island, especially Puna, and Pahoa! It’s wild and similar weather and humid and hot as heck! That said, be aware that there is a lot of poverty and if you end up in the province you will most likely be supporting a wife and her family. You could probably live a very, very simple life on 2K a month, her family will be pissed that you don’t have more but oh well. The Philippines in a lot of ways has been so westernized thanks to social media and in my opinion a lot of the jealousy Juells refers to is because of materialism. Hawaii is expensive as heck, I know, but it is part of the US and you do not see the soul crushing poverty you see in the Manila slums. I’d visit first but be aware as an American you are a target for PH women and scams. Find one who is kind and has her head on straight, and humble. Preferably one that is educated, and has worked, like a nurse or a teacher and understands hard work. I am blessed because my late mother was from the province but worked so hard and was ambitious, I also believe she had guardian angels looking out for her when she came to the US . I was born and educated in the US and my parents set me up for success and generational wealth. I totally relate to Juell’s situation which is why I dig his channel. Good luck and Mahalo

Everything will be much cheaper and better for you in Thailand except employment perhaps. Your example should be a wake up call to many expats living in the Philippines. When it most important for things to be right and you are no longer at your best the chances are very high that the Philippines will not be the place you want to be. Even Filipino (the Rich ones) go elsewhere when they have major medical needs. Regardless of the reasons or how much you want to spin or justify it, the ridiculous inefficiencies that exist at every turn in the Philippines will negatively impact you. Learn from Juells experiences and prepare yourself. Eventful in our later years we all will be unable to help ourselves and have to count on others.

Just Curios - Can't you just go to St. Luke's in Manila instead of Thailand?
@willsmith397 ай бұрын
I've been there and it's not remotely on a par with the Bummugrud or something like Gleneagles or Princes Court in Kuala Lumpur. He's made some poor decisions lately in my view but give him some credit for this one finally at least it's exactly the right call. Get out of the Philippines and go to a top 10 hospital in the world not just Asia pac which the Bummugrud is I know from first hand experience.
@billyjohnson91667 ай бұрын
It would be much cheaper
@willsmith397 ай бұрын
@@billyjohnson9166 Well first off I think at this point and given how seriously ill he is I don't think this is about getting a bargain price, it's about finding out exactly what's going on here and getting on the right course of treatment as fast as possible. Secondly, having been to Saint Luke's and used the the Bummugrud myself on several occasions I don't think one is "much cheaper", if anything I'd say the Bummugrud was less expensive. But again the main criteria here should be quality, it's his life he's not shopping for a new scooter.
@willsmith397 ай бұрын
The other thing to mention is that Thailand is really well set up in terms of efficiency in health care, whereas Jules health care experience so far in the Philippines mirrors my own - absolutely chaotic with all sorts of contradictory advice. Even something as straightforward as having a baby seems to be much less straightforward in the Philippines v Thailand. This is from an expatriate website where the two systems are compared... Bangkok‘s medical tourism industry is exceptionally efficient. Bureaucratic requirements for the birth through your baby’s exit clearance are transparent right from the beginning. It’s possible to plan ahead, budget properly, and concentrate on the birth. Hospital staff handled the paperwork and coordination across government departments on your behalf until you leave the country. We were able to go home when our son was 10 days old. Manila was the complete opposite, with inefficiency at every office, in a process that is not transparent. Information for foreigners coming to the Philippines to have a baby was sparse, with different people in the same hospital/government office offering conflicting information, and unfair fines levied (which we paid in order to move the process). The coordination required to secure our daughter’s documents (1) within the hospital, then (2)(3) from the hospital to/between the different government departments, was worse than poor. We were finally cleared to leave the country after 74 days.
@TomBTerrific7 ай бұрын
And that fact alone and there are so many more, is enough reason and keeps me from even considering living in the Philippines. I don’t understand why people are so delusional about the Philippines. Yes it has some wonderful things going for it. It also has some amazingly bad things that exist and are inescapable! Medical being one and it pretty high up on the important list for most of us eventually.
