why buy a 2050 and not the 2100 ? Its a genuine question as Im considering the 1850 or the 2100. Am i missing something ? Thank you.

They do not sell the 2100 in North America, so the 2050 is the only choice here for that size boat.

2050 is only 2.5 inches shorter.

@@celticbedou smaller fuel tank, smaller motor, and smaller trailer. Kind of offset each other. 2050 meets the US coastguard safety standards but the 2100 does not. You might be able to order a larger gas tank. Plus, you can always carry extra jerry cans.

@@NoToBigBro all good points and actually for my needs I dont require the larger fuel tanks. Do we know why the 2100 doesnt qualify the US requirements ?
