I made a solder sucker one time but I am a bit intimidated with the solder lol. I used those connectors and covered them with that shrink wrap stuff and went around it some more with electrical tape. The solder sucker was a computer fan, a cut piece of black filter (doubled) screwed onto one side of the fan. It was all connected to a 12v 1amp adapter. Simple to do. I do need to learn to solder. Some of you guys make it look so easy lol it is a precision type of art. You could probably use one of those desk clamps that can hold whatever you're using to record. The ones with those bendable metal arms. I usually see good ones at the thrift store, old but not cheaply made. The head mount is fine, I'm waiting for mine to come in the mail.

Yes, I now at least have a monopod. After 40 years or so of occasional soldering, you get pretty good at it! Thanks for your comment. I am going to redo the video with the monopod for now.
