Or you could learn to solder properly. You’re supposed to heat the copper with the iron and apply the tin to the wire itself
@DefferJohn9 күн бұрын
Always remember to tin the iron *before* you heat the copper wire up and apply tin. This is the absolute best beginner advice I can give to someone.
@Iceice69420 Жыл бұрын
MUCH SAFER WAY: 1. Heat copper wire for around 1-5 seconds 2. Grab your tin and directly apply to the copper wire 3. After the tin sticks perfectly, stop adding more tin 4. Keep heating the tin for around 2 seconds 5. After 2 seconds, stop heating the copper wire 6. Don't blow! Wait the tin to cool naturally 7. Perfect tin applied!
@houseofpainINKS11 ай бұрын
If he would have used flux before applying the solder then it would gave worked as it always has . But he didn't even wait fot the iron to heat up correctly and he didn't use flux . All for the sake of showing off his little tiny solder up , you see if he would have spoken and explained like if you have Lotz of wires u need to solder this is a faster way , but to show that wanna be fail . I say wanna be cause he dam well knows he left the flux out intentionally to trick the simple minded and in the process ha a made himself look like a copy Content and a fool

So now you have one cut and exposed wire covered in solder at the tip. What exactly is that going to accomplish?

It didnt work, because this is not the way that you solder. You should hear up the copper wire and apply it near the soldering iron, also, NEVER MODIFY YOUR SOLDERING IRON ON YOUR OWN
@houseofpainINKS11 ай бұрын
And why not ? Cause I modify a whole lot of sht I own , hell I fixed my very dji mavic zoom after someone crashed it ,it wouldn't take off because of a part in the gimble so I ordered some parts and put it together myself a d it flew I modified a females hair straining iron to use it to press my buds and make my own dabs. And now I'm about to modify my soldering iron for tiny solutions of some big issues I encounted., as long as the person has some common sence then why not buy the majority don't have it
@ZeyadShaban-f2l5 ай бұрын
why not modifying it? that's called tinkering buddy

I’d call these unethical but uniquely brilliant if what you’re soldering requires a dip and nothing else to join it with 😂
Не актуально. Сейчас китайские провода не паяются от слова совсем. Только под обжим

1. apply solder directly to the part/wire, not the iron. 2. use flux to stop oxidation no need for this silly contraption that puts you in unecessary danger.
@toxicity66298 ай бұрын
Bro the tool was meant to put solder into it like those buckets they dip solder parts into I could immediately tell. If you put it on the wire you now have to put both the wire and the solder in just put a lot in to dip your wire. It’s meant for DIPPING
@Augrills6 ай бұрын
@@toxicity6629 it just don’t seem like the best way of doing a wire. You get perfect coverage, but look how much oxidation is on the tin doing it this way. Coverage isn’t the same as quality. Just do it the right way

Stupidity. You need to clean the copper wire with a blade first (if it is dirty & dull) till it is shiny. Then twist the strands , dip it in good quality solder flux & then solder it with a good quality solder wire.
