Lots of applications for this. Really like the the switchable magnets for full surface usage. Good job!

Heart4pahoea thanks I'm glad you liked it. Make sure and watch the second part to this video. I made some cool knobs to replace the generic wing nuts. -Adán

Clickspring Thanks! I've been using it now for 6 months and I have to say I really like how quickly I can set things up for soldering.

Thanks Adan! I made two! Great! Thanks SO MUCH for this idea! What did you end up facing the teeth with? And how’s it holding up?

Thanks Jonathan! Well, after a few uses i realized I really didn't have to do anything to the teeth. I really only use it for silver soldering and when using that kind of heat the finish burns right off. The re-lacquering process takes care of any minor scratches the teeth might have made. In all honesty I really never have any issues with the teeth putting any kind of marks at all. Thanks for watching! -Adan

The springs are in the wrong place though - you have them to keep the jaws open which would be fine with gravity for that size - but for pcb you'd want to put the springs under the wingnut with a washer between the wingnut and the spring - this way the jaws would reverse operation and close and be strong enough to hold the pcb easily, but weak enough to where you can remove / add pcbs without unscrewing and screwing the wingnut.
