God. I love this scene. There's so much packed into it but I love that instead of being a self-righteous ass, he knows what it's like to lose a dad and doesn't want Anna to have to go through that. Being selfless enough to take on a fairly large number in such close quarters so she can get out and find her dad is just such character growth.
