Her face lit up when she saw her daddy. I’m 45 years old, and I see my dad only once every two years. He lives in England, I live in Australia. My face lights up when I see my daddy, and you know what he sees? He sees his daughter....who to him, is still 7 years old. You never grow up really in the eyes of your parents. I have watched so many of these reunion videos and I love each one of them. Since most of them are taken by family, I have a suggestion. Try to set up an area so when the soldier comes in, you get an up close picture of the face of the person who is being surprised. It makes the video far better and you will want to watch it with your grandchildren one day. Also teachers, when a soldier enters a room you should teach your kids to stand up and applaud.❤️

If they hadn't added words to it in 1954 we would still be able to say it. Too sad.
@3stax1705 жыл бұрын
Ruth Hendrix I don’t know what words you were added, but the way I said it all through school was fine the way it was! I’m assuming it’s probably the one nation under god! That’s part of the problem is we bend to make everybody feel good! Never worried about the fact of what the people who was already here doing things the way we did! Part of become an American citizen is the assimilation into the culture! Of course there are a few other things changed to make others happy that started the downfall of things like patriotism
@RowdyRuth5 жыл бұрын
When they added the words, it changed the artist work. I don't see anybody happy with that change. Now some can't say it and some won't say it. So all voices are silenced. Why not just change it back? And when you speak at the people that were already here, I am pretty sure that Native Americans did not have a pledge of allegiance to the American flag.
