In Korea, soldiers do not go home for weekends. They may get a few days leave for special achievement, or having best scores during training. That is a reward and motivation to work harder. I am sure V is a lot of fun to be around with, will make many new friends and fans while serving, as he is a humble, respectfull young man.

I can assure u they can't go home during the weekend. They have a certain amount of days off which they can take whenever. And it's certainly not a 5-9 job. They can't go home after service hours. Most of them are stationed hours away from their homes anyway.

Except Suga who is serving as a social service agent. He is not an active soldier because of his shoulder so he works in an office from 9 to 5pm & goes home at end of the day & has the weekends off just like a normal office worker. For the rest of BTS members you are correct as active soldiers living in the base camps they cannot leave when they want & only have a certain amount of leave they can use.

Thats smart of V. And i do believe he heard the songs ahead of time. They always listen to each others. And as you know they want to scatter their work out through their enlistment to keep giving Army content. I believe its been done for awhile even on Suchwita he said it was going to be releast 2024 both Doc and mini album of 6 songs. So its not far fetched if they heard it. Also as far as ive heard you cant go home on weekends there unless you have time saved up. They only one im awhere of that gets to go home at night is Suga cause he works as a social service worker in the gov. Buildings and even im not 100% i only heard that. I cant wait for Jin 3 1/2 and we get our oldest Brother home.

If the Korean Army is anything like the US Army, active duty soldiers can NOT go home at the end of the day. You get 30 days of vacation a year, but you live on an Army post, Air Force base etc. There are barracks for single people or married housing for those who are married and have their spouse with them. A spouse can not be with a soldier during basic training or AIT, about the first 5 months depending what your job is, but those soldiers will have signed up for at least 3 - 4 years. I highly doubt Korea has married barracks unless the soldier is a career soldier. One of the big differences here is it is voluntary. Korea is mandatory. I think since it is voluntary, the benefits are better. Just what I think, I don't know. Don't beat me up.

I have attended Comic Conventions now for about 20 years and have learned some things about autographs. The value of an autograph is decided by a few factors. If the person wants the maximum amount for an autograph, the person must show proof that it is the real thing. Like taking a picture of the celebrity while he/she is in the act of writing the autograph. Otherwise it should be taken to a professional who can authenticate the autograph for you. Did you also know that the value of the autograph is greatly reduced when the celebrity personalizes the autograph to you? Many celebrities will only give out personalized autographs for that fact alone. For my family and I, meeting the celebrity is an amazing experience and our autographed picture (sometimes bundled with a selfie) is our proof that we met that celebrity. It's an amazing experience to meet a celebrity you admire. To talk to them and laugh with them and just interact with them. The autograph is the icing on that wonderful cake. :) I love how V tests those searching for an autograph. He must have had experiences in the past that made him re-think the way he handles things. Just another thing to admire about him. Anyway, another great video Dave. :)
