I'm a grown man of 62 and these videos bring tears to my eyes and a lump in my throat. I'm very happy for the returning military members and their families. I just can't help thinking of the families of the ones that will never return. I know I will never understand their loss or heartbreak but I still feel for them.

It's amazing how strong these videos are and how much it shows we are really all AMERICANS and very much the same in so many aspects of how we love our families. That is why it gets me so upset when I see the efforts that our so called leaders put into dividing us all the time when THIS is who we truly are. People that want the best for our families and children. Rather politicians would rather get that second guy to hate that 4th guy because they want power and votes.

I was 7yrs old and my dad was ready to leave after 2month in home .I still remmeber my 2 older sister and my mom sitting saying not even a word and then my dad said "Don't be sad I will come soon" and he never came back ..I will never forget that moment in my life ..I miss him so much(sorry for bad english guys😥)

is it weird to say even though I like the ones where the kids and the spouses know when they're coming back but I like it better when they're surprised when they have no idea they're back. for some reason I like it when they surprise their family and kids and not when they actually know that they're coming back I don't know I think I'm weird. it feels more special for me when they don't know like the element of surprise.
