Since MOST of my family have served, I can imagine what this feels like! These Soldiers are giving all they have, AND some will NEVER come home!! It is SO nice to see when the Family gets what they want. JUST to have THEIR loved ones home, for as long as THEY can! BECAUSE, without them, we wouldn't be living such a easy life! My father was a marine died when I was 2, No memories of him but I love him, He died in a crash coming home from his day at work, He was usually away so my mum was happy he was coming but he... died... 😢😢, Thankfully my mum's best friend was there for us and still is, I love my family and get scared if I'm away from mum for at least 2 days because of my anxiety and because of my dads death. I give you good wishes for your brother ❤

I'm an old ,heard ,grizzled old man but this kind of thing always brings me to tears. I'm so happy for these people they deserve our thanks.When I got out of the service we wore our uniform home because the airfare was halved if we did. In Seattle WA people spit on me and gave me the finger called me a baby killer(it was 1970). It's good to see that America finally has some respect for those who fight for our rights.

My sister came back from basic and stood inside the doorway. I was walking home from my bus stop after a bad day at school. I took about two steps into the lawn before she opened the door. Not even kidding, I dropped my backpack and sprinted so fast that my P.E. teacher would have been impressed that my tiny spaghetti legs didn't give out before tackling her and hugging her. Other than my dad, I tend to be the last one to cry in my family, but I bawled like a baby.

Once in 5th grade there was this kid, i wont expose name, who was always very depressed because he hadnt seen his brother in 4 years. He was a soilder. On graduation day was probably very sad without his brother. Thats when there was a knock on the door. He got to open it, and to his surprise it was his brother. He went home early and it was truly a blessing to see him happy again. Whats yours our someone elses story u tuink us similar to this?😇

This is why the US army gets respect. I’ve had 3 relatives serving our country in the military. A grandpa joe who served in the us navy and fought in World War II, my grandpa chuck served in the army and fought in the Korean War, and World War II, and an uncle bob who served in Vietnam with the military police. I respect my relatives who served America.

Danniel Zellmann yeah. My two grandpas are dead now. They didn’t die in the military. Grandpa chuck died from a heart attack and cancer. I forget how my grandpa joe died, but he like grandpa chuck, did not die in the military. And of course my grandpas were lucky men to serve my country like my uncle bob.
