By the time I go home to see my family, it’ll have been at least 14 months. It’s just as hard for us as it is for the families back home. I plan to surprise my family when I get home too. Plus the looks on their faces are priceless 😂. Being in the military makes you realize how important your family really is. Being away for so long, you miss each other, and you help each other the best you can through whatever communication that you can have with each other while being so far apart. It sucks that it took the military to make me realize that I had love but I didn’t feel it. I guess it’s true what they say, you don’t realize what you have until it’s gone. I took all the time I had with my family when I was younger for nothing. I didn’t appreciate them like I should have.

This really tugs at the heartstrings when you see precious kids' emotional response to seeing their Mom or Dad come home from deployment. People who do not honor our men and women in the armed forces haven't got a clue of the SACRAFICES these brave people go through. Thank you to all who sign up to protect our COUNTRY! NOW it's the American people to elect competent people to lead this NATION or the death of our solders are on the hands of those who are disinformed or complicit! Wake up people! The devil is on our doorsteps.
