It's in remarkably good condition considering it's age and where it was kept. I hope to see it after you've refurbished it. P.S. I'm sure your quality control cat makes sure you do a good job on it.😸

Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to leave a comment! 😊Yes, I was very lucky with the condition on this one - and I cant wait to get to work on it. My cat "Heidi" will accept nothing but the very best! 🐱 Thanks again - best regards from Norway 😊

Do you think any of your three projects will actually be used again for your group? Only only restoration for collecting and eventual resell?

That is a great piece of kit! Restoring anything is a labor of love! I'm a car guy and I get it! A friend calls , "Dude, there's this guy...". and next second you are driving over chanting to yourself I'm not buying anything, I'm not buying anything.... You get there with your friend and you hand out the cash because its the only one you've seen in ten years this reasonable.....then drive home knowing that you shouldn't have taught your wife how to shoot a weapon because she's going to murder you and your best friend in the driveway before you get out of the truck...... She walks out and says, " You know babe, my crazy Uncle had one of these in yellow.."😆😆😆 Looks like your significant person was happy to go and give support... way Cool 😎! (Thank goodness I have some room.....sorta..😆!). Kudos 👍 on this find!

Haha exactly, It's every time! 😅 Thanks for sharing the story - is it a true one? 😎 I'm very lucky with my girl, she lets me get away with alot of this crazy hobby stuff 😅 Thank you so much for watching and your kind words - best regards from Norway! 🇳🇴😊
@johnwhitley2898 Жыл бұрын
@@ww2historyandreenacting It's true! 😆😆😆😆. My first wife was great about "stuff", but wasn't a car girl 🙄...at first! ( A change in our jobs forced us apart). Anyway, I grew up building cars and Hot Rods with my brothers, and one day, yeah I got that call, and bought the heap that became a Rod home . She was NOT happy for about ten months until I kidnapped her in it and blasted away for a few hours.... She was hooked. It's this thing with high octane fuel, glass packs, extreme cubic inches, and real lopey cams... 😂. We sold it to pay bills and a deposit. Not bad. OH, and you will never guess WHO found our second builder car. Wasn't me...😆😆😆😆! Be safe and be good 👍. I really enjoy your personal take with this history!
@ww2historyandreenacting Жыл бұрын
Haha, that's awesome! 😆😊 It's funny how when they get hooked and are actually the one trying to convince you too buy more stuff! 😆 Sounds like you have been lucky with your significant others yourself 😊 I love cars as well and I wish there was more than 24 hours in a day so I could pursue all my hobbys and interest! 😔 Thank you so much again - best regards from Norway 🇳🇴😊
