This video just helped me diagnose that I have to replace my flywheel-- the part of the axle with the drive belt grooves partially failed, there were fragments of it inside the covers. I'll be watching this again when the replacement arrives to actually get the job done.

Great information, Sir! My Sole Elliptical is slipping. Can I just tighten the what you referred to as the tension bolt to see if that fixes the problem?

If it doesn’t tighten up the belts just do all old and worn thin

Thank you very much for the videos. Just a question: the resistance in my machine is at the lowest and it doesn't increase. The cable seems fine and I can see it pushing/pulling the lever. Could it be the flywheel?

Hmm that’s odd normally when the cable in the flywheel brake it is always hard ? See if you can see the magnet in side the flywheel move maybe the magnet is stuck!

Can you please help with SOLE FLYWHEEL adjustments? I’ve watched a video of yours for replacing the SOLE FLYWHEEL, but I just need to adjust the tension, it is incredibly tight, in comparison to any other, like at the gyms, thank you!

Well you can’t the sole system is fixed magnetic moved by the steel cable. On commercial unit they use magnetic energy so it is both easier and harder depending on the settings.

Thanks for the information, Dave. I have a 2019 E35 and the steel tensioning cable to the brake assembly is shredded. Gear motor seems to be fine. Do I need to order an entire new flywheel assembly or is there a way to just replace the cable? Thanks again for sharing your expertise!

I believe it is part number 9003530-1. A 310m/m Steel Cable

Can you please direct me to the video/videos that go over how to remove the sides? I have to replace the steel cable and the belt, but can not figure out how to get the sides off. By sides, I mean the pieces that cover the belt and cable area. I have a Sole E25 elliptical

Hmmm I guess I don’t just went over my channel and can’t find one? And I no longer have access to that unit. I would think the most helpful one are .sole gear motor replacement. Sole elliptical maintenance.Sole elliptical brake system. Hope this helps

What is there in the flywheel that can break and cause you to need to replace it? I have an E35 with no resistance, could it be the cable (cable tensioning motor works)?

Hmm most of the time if flywheel breaks it is always hard .Is the Resitance none or way too easy but does change some ? If you can see cable in flywheel move something must be stopping the magnets. I have a video on understanding break system on my full channel fitness technology services
