We just bought the F80 and are extremely happy with it put it together today and used it for the first time. Thank you for the great review.

You mention that you miss a decline option for both the F85 and the F80 at the 7m 11s mark. The 2023 F85 should come with a 6% decline capability (and the video actually shows it in action during that section).

7:20 "I wish they included a decline option" Are you sure that your sole F85 doesn't have decline? Everything I've read about it suggests that it does offer 6 degree decline -- though I'm not sure if that's only for the refreshed 2023 model of F85? It does look like the F85 you're reviewing has a servo motor in the rear for decline.

Thanks for the review ! In France, the F85 is around 3400€ (3700$) vs 2800€ (3000$) for the F80

I'm confused, you said you wish the the f85 had a decline function while your showing a video of the f85 in the decline position. BTW the f85 does have decline.

This was a frustrating review because it focused more on style than substance. There are so many inaccuracies in the review that I can't trust it.

The Sole website says that the F80 has a 350 lb weight limit (not 375) and the F85 has a 375 lb weight limit (not 400.) Also, the website shows that, while the F80 does not have a decline feature, the F85 does have a decline feature offering 6 levels of decline. Moreover, if by "studio workouts" you mean those workouts available on their Sole +App, both the Sole website and their customer service say that feature is free and that there is no monthly subscription. I asked Sole customer service about the $19.99 studio workouts you mentioned and they didn't know what I was talking about. Perhaps you could expand on that a bit.

Great review. I am deciding between Sole F85 and Spirit xt685. I am building my Gym at this time and also trying to decide on flooring. Do you have any recommendations?

I was going to get a Nordictrak...but i really don't need ifit to keep motivated plus they have mixed reviews. Leaning towards a sole 85 now with higher incline and decline.

Not to nitpick, but you say there is a $300 difference, but iti is $500 difference. :)

Just ordered my 71 yo father an F80 to replace his 12 year old Nordictrack 3500R ... Was around $2200 after shipping and tax. Was very tempted to go with an Assault Runner manual treadmill, mainly for longevity - but concerned that it might pose more risk to fall or injury for elderly users.

The timing is great, I have been watching all of your videos this morning to help me decide what treadmill to buy and this video came out. Will the f85 be able to mirror my Peloton app? Or for that matter do you know of any treadmill that I can mirror my phone onto the screen for that purpose?
@kerrigennett5935 Жыл бұрын
Yes, I purchased the F85 treadmill 2 months ago and have been using the mirroring feature to access my peloton app. Love it!

Do you have to buy a subscription with either
@garagegymreviewseverything7 ай бұрын
no, you can, but they both work great and have some of their own programming that isn't apart of the subscription. - Linds

Odd that you spent so much time talking about the 4 wheels to move the treadmills around - then repeatedly show you moving it balanced on just 2 wheels? Do people move these things that often that it's a major purchase decision - surely things like noise level/change of deck speed and incline/how easy are the controls to use whilst running (ie. max effort interval and you need it to slow down straight after the effort block) etc are much more of interest. Like others point out the Decline comment is bizarre when we see you using it, and I can see the quick select incline buttons alongside the screen with the - in front of the bottom few!!

So much poor information in this video. In addition, there is no valid link for any referral for purchase. Please try and update the video and description.
