I spoke with an attorney who told me that, not only would forming an LLC cost me $800 annually in California, but it would costs thousands to get properly set up, and he did not recommend doing it on my own. I'm not sure who I can trust.

I'm putting together a comparison of a S-corp, C-corp, LLC & a Sole P for a financial presentation. I was taking notes on this video and had to slow the speed of your video down 0.5 so my note taking can keep up, Lol.. I also noticed you take the time to answer questions below and I think that is very cool of you! So perhaps you can help answer this question for me. What are the benefits and tax advantages of having a C-corp and utilizing a Corporate owned life insurance aka COLI? Do you have to have a C-Corp to have a COLI or can an S-Corp have a Coli?
