Hmmm, ask yourself….why would god make this happen?
@camise93204 ай бұрын
@@Lizwindsor Hi Liz! I wanted to respond to this bc you asked a valid question and I'd like to offer an answer. Its undeniable that a lot of cruelty, evil, and suffering happens in the world every day but to blame God instead of mankind is to ask God to take away our free will. Hear me out, even if it wasnt the captain/crews fault, and it was a complete accident/unfortunate failure, God didn't design the bridge, or the ship, or the electrical systems on it. Behind all of those things, and behind the decisions to have a ship there on that night and the decisions of the workers to be there on that night, there were humans. And humans are imperfect, and thats okay. We also have free will, and that is something that God will always respect because thats the purpose He made us with. You might think, how cruel is that? God drops some imperfect beings onto a planet and lets their mistakes cause death and suffering? Again, its true that theres lots of suffering in this world, but this world is temporary along with our earthly lives. Compared to eternity, theres nothing that can happen in this earthly life that should turn us away from the promise of salvation in our Savior Jesus Christ, who has conquered death and along with it, all suffering. To answer your question more directly, I cant know exactly why God felt it was time to allow these souls to move on, but we can hope that God has shown them mercy and embraced them and brought them into his eternal kingdom, a place far better than the world theyve left behind. I hope this was informative and God bless you always!
