That is an excellent question. Although there are not many people who play flamenco on an electric guitar, there are some who have done it and done it really well. Take Ben Woods for instance. He has a few videos on KZbin, and watching his videos hopefully gives you a very good idea about what it's like to play flamenco on an electric guitar: kzbin.info/www/bejne/n3uckGqQZ9B4hc0 kzbin.info/www/bejne/iGS3ZX2Lf7Zlapo Now, regarding your question on whether it would be possible to learn this lesson on an electric guitar. We haven't tried it at Learnavel, and I know that Adam del Monte haven't tried it himself, but like I mentioned, people like Ben Woods and others do play Solea, Bulerias, Tangos and just about every other flamenco palo on an electric guitar, so I have to say yes, it is quite possible. There are differences between an electric guitar and a flamenco guitar of course, and some of those differences impact the way you execute a flamenco technique. So, don't be afraid to experiment and modify the techniques to make it work on your guitar. Really interested to find out what you do with this lesson! All the best,

Sorry about the misunderstanding. This is the advanced-beginner level lesson in the style of Solea. It is not meant to be a guitar lesson for a beginner who just picks up the guitar. Before signing up for this particular lesson our online students start with a series of lessons in Flamenco Guitar for Beginners series, then Flamenco Guitar Techniques series, followed by Rasgueados Techniques lesson and Picado Techniques before diving into the flamenco styles like Solea as well as Alegrias, Tangos, etc. I hope this helps, and again sorry about the confusion.
