Would it be wrong to wonder what a Male Soleil and Nina would look like? Soleil's name can be Lune because that's French for moon and Nina's name can be... I don't know. More so, they would have to change the genders on who they're attracted to... Lune is gay Inigo (which is just Inigo) and (this is edited thanks to the person below) Marius would be a pervert.

Male Nina should be named "Marius". Why? *Ahem* Nina's japanese name is Eponine. She is probably named after a character from a french novel, "Les Misérables" from Victor Hugo. In Les Misérable, Eponine is the daughter of a thief and a thief herself (just like Nina), who eventually rebelled against her father (just like Nina), and who was in love with a man but couldn't confess her feelings to him or even talk to him (kinda like Nina). That man's name was, you guessed it, MARIUS! Disclaimer: Although I did read the novel in the past, I learned about the connection between Nina and Eponine from Les Misérables thanks to the FE wiki.

Blue Fire Well, Nina is an abbreviation of the name Eponine. And I'm pretty sure they made the change because it resembles the Slavic "Ninati" which means "dream" or "dreamer". They had a good idea but yeah Eponine sounds like a better name. Oh and again, THANKS FE WIKI
