Salamu Alaikum Sultan Adnan amca(uncle) :) please make video about the ottoman empire/sultans. I as a Turk have listened to many turkish lectures about the empire but they all seem biased. Good subjects to delve into could be contemporary ulema in the Arab world on what they thought of the Ottoman empire, how the non-Turks was treated within its boarders, Ottoman-Mughal relations, the Armenian genocide, about the hadiths by our blessed prophet(pbuh) on the Turks etc. May Allah bless you and those whom you hold dear!

That's why India belongs to Muslims, Christians, Parsis, Sikhs, Bodhs, Jains just as they belong to Hindus. No specific religion can claim India. If you cant find a job, u must be either incompetent or u must get resevations out for the rest of the Hindu community. Again you cry only for the reservations to the Muslims. And mind you, not all Muslims enjoy resevations. Just as not all Hindus enjoy reservations. I completed my education by paying a full fee while most of my Hindu friends enjoyed reservation and had a subsidised education fee (despite being kids of senior government employees). So if you've got complaints, u shud be targeting the very reservation system. Just as u tolerate the azan, I wake up to the song in the local temple near my home. Which I never had any complaints about. I hear the church bells ringing next to where I work. Most Hindus are peace loving, tolerant folks. Some are just brain dead.

An idol worshipping population in majority had full powers and the military might to crush the ideology of Islam at its onset. People accepted Islam for its true teachings of monotheism, for the rights it gave to women, for liberating the under privileged, and for taking care of the poor at a time when female infanticide was at the highest. Islam came at a time when the poor and downtrodden were ignored while huge money were spent on idols. And just to reiterate, idol worship was practiced in most parts of Europe too. Before Christianity spread into Europe through the Byzantine empires. And if you never had Muslims in India, Chengiz Khan and his Mongol warriors would have obliterated the Hindu kingdoms in India. Just as the Mongols killed millions in Iraq. You must read history from actual sources than rely on WhatsApp University. I don't claim Islam has a pacifist history. But neither has Hinduism for the most part of it.

Sunnis follow Hanafi,.Hambali, Maliki, Shafi. Fiqh. Muslims in Indian Subcontinent mostly follow Hanafi Fiqh but people here are divided into two sects Barelvi and Deobandi . Barelvi sect has introduced new things into Islam. They are Inovators . Not all but most of them are. Also some of them has beliefs which is SHIRK. On the Other Hand Deobandis opposed such Innovations and SHIRK in Islam. But there are still some Deobandis who follow their teachers even if they are wrong.

I'm Bangladeshi and big fan of Adnan Rashid. I share his mentality on Muslim nationalism in the subcontinent. I just don't like his overlooking of the Saudis, which are arguably worse than Iran, and that is from a Sunni perspectives. He says Iran was helped when Saddam's Iraq was destroyed. Majority of Kashmiris want independent neither India or Pakistan, but the problem is Kashmeries are not only Muslims there are Hindus (Kashmiri Pandits) also. The Kashmir issue will be solved only if India and Pakistan think like a father, not a country. Assume, India is the father of a Hindu boy allowing to marry a Muslim girl and Pakistan is the father of a Muslim girl allowing to marry a Hindu boy. Actually, Pakistan has said time & time again to allow the Kashmiris a referendum. India doesnt allow it. Dont equate Pakistan & India. India is the one that has heavily militarised the area & doesnt allow a referendum. The simple fact is most Kashmiris would like to be a part of Pakistan. Either way, Pakistan would just like the Kashmiris the chance to be given a referendum & have their say. Just look at Imran Khan's recent interview about this.

The Indian citizens have been fed with fake news and anti-Islam propaganda. This is common tactics to raise fear and hatred, and unsurprisingly it works very well for certain political group (extreme right wing). Look at the US, Brazil, France and to some extents the UK.

@@Khaled-kj1pq Yes and no. Can Fox News viewers be held accountable for their bigoted views, racism and their votes in the election? True that they can simply change the channel and watch Al Jazeera or others. But they are fed continuously 24/7 that the only reliable news source is Fox News. Others are pure lies. This is difficult to break the bubble, but it is not impossible. First, they need to be challenged and get exposed to alternative views. Get to know new people, outside their bubble. If we can get them out of the echo chamber, they can start dismantling their old prejudice. So our job is to educate and enlighten people, or at least provide them alternative and comprehensive views that many people are not exposed to. Building relation and outreach to others are important. Challenge their views using hard facts, and try to familiarise ourselves with fact-checking websites to counter hoaxes and lies.
