I just bought the last one in stock .....with 3 local Home Depot had on hand. Keep in mind..there is no battery or charger...sold separate. Note.....I saw that the do sell adapters to be able to utilize other manufactures batteries. Buying that adapter on Amazon so I can use my Dewalt battery and charger i already own.

I got one to do an emergency job since I couldn’t wait for the new Milwaukee M18 18GA brad nailer, I’ll tell you what, it performed flawlessly, I am very happy with it and I was referred to it by a pro contractor.

I was hoping you would unbox an air strike nailer. Great video and great feature overview

Thanks for the video, I am using mine in 10 minutes, I hope it meets my expectations too!

Now that you have owned the nailer for several years, how do you like it? I bought mine a week ago and after an hour of use putting down baseboard, it stopped firing. Even though the battery was fully charged, it wouldn't fire. I kept removing the battery and checking for any jams, but nothing was there. It seemed like it was moving the nails properly to be fired.

I wonder if Ryobi can further cut down the firing delay while maintain the same recoil... and make the tool(bare tool) lighter to make it comparable to pneumatic's weight. Where do you purchase extra no-mar pads? The original no-mar pad at the nose doesn't fit in the no-mar pad holder, because there's a screw beside the no-mar pad holder which is designed too close to the holder, and the one at the nose is too thick to fit in that space.

I like mine, I've had it for a couple of years now. However, it doesn't like to work when it is cold. It keeps jamming, not the nails, but the hammer itself. I have to open it up and push the hammer back up. When it is warm it works fine.
@tonyrobertson94523 жыл бұрын
You can clean the striker and 1 drop of phenumatic oil . Not Everytime.
@Dave_Simmons3 жыл бұрын
@@tonyrobertson9452, I did try cleaning and oiling the striker. I still had to set it in a sunny window to warm up.

I'm planning on buying a kit of some kind this holiday season. What tools do you think I should try to get 1st? I'm just going to be a DIYer with the possibility of a small business with my wife. Trying the craft fair type of projects. I'll be building frames for her paintings, mostly small projects. I know this is Ryobi based but how do you stack up to the Kobalt line of tools? Thanks for sharing this information. I look forward to your advice. Thanks, Rodney

Hi Rodney, that is a great question. In our opinion the starter kits are a great way to go. It is best if you can buy kits that include batteries. Right now HomeDepot has additional deals on all 5 of the major brands. You can use the link below to check them out. bit.ly/HomeDepotTools As far as the exact tools you start with that depends on what you need to do (again the bags give you a decent assortment and then you can select the additional 1 or 2 free tools). Part of the reason that we picked Ryobi is the battery platform. We plan to do a future video and explain all the reason but if you want to send us an email we can list some for you. The green light flash of death is notorious with these little pieces of doo doo! I love the doo doo gun, but it no love me back. They have to many issues to be an option for anyone using them other then a home owner who may use it 2 times a year... And fixing them is a hassle and if you use them daily, ain't no one got time for that! Until they can resolve that fatal flaw, where you have to spend time pulling it apart and resoldering wires as a bypass it's gonna be a no go for me! Love the evolution of no air no gas technology, but just not there yet for daily users!

Good call. Especially since there are several different sizes. We should have tried out a few. The 4ah feels great on it but the 6ah might be the sweet spot for this gun.

Not really a review as an unboxing. Would prefer reviews that are based on at least a few weeks of hard use.
@SolelyRyobi6 жыл бұрын
You are correct. This was just the unboxing and our initial thoughts and impressions of the tool. We plan to do a full review after we have used it several times.

I REALLY Agree with that comment, and I've written negative comments to Other "Reviewers" for that reason. I can buy stuff, open the box, and read the instructions myself, but I Really want know what it's like months down the road, after some use. I really Do enjoy THIS channel though. It feels a bit more, instructional. Thanks.
