What do you all think of this style of highlight video of a competition? Wrist Wraps - www.weightliftinghouse.com/products/wrist-wraps/
@alharris7772 жыл бұрын
Which is more likely: WLH getting a crew large enough to have full run of show (commentary + cameras + on-screen graphics, etc) of a livestream for an event, or y'all getting to have creative control over whatever camera crew is contracted by the organization running an event (ewf, iwf, or whomever)? or is neither likely? commentary during all the live streams made them really fun to watch and the camera angles they used were befuddling. #albanianAlps
@WeightliftingHouse2 жыл бұрын
The first I think is more likely, and also what we'd rather. Even if there is an entire crew there separate from ours, I think we'd just bring out own set of cameras and run it separately. #AlbanianAlps

Awesome job WH! Loved the live stream, and I'm loving these post comp videos. This is just what weightlifting needs. Also as a Norwegian I'm super exited that we now have athletes at top international level. Can't wait to see Solfrid at the olympics!

Great performance by Koanda. If she can maintain her current progress there's a strong chance she could add the world championship to her achievements. Last year's winner, Mönkhjantsangiin Ankhtsetseg of Mongolia only totalled 250kg, 2kg lighter than Koanda's total here.

I'm gonna say it. WADA must be eyeballing her pretty hard. She is clearly juicing out of her mind, which is only somewhat apparent from the other female competitors. That level of muscularity would be commendable even on a large man, let alone a woman. Hope she doesn't get popped soon and we don't see her for years.
@eirikhoelhiseth32252 жыл бұрын
There are interviews where she describes suffering from poor self image as a youth because she was always abnormally muscular: "I've had biceps since I wore diapers". You can see a picture of her at two years old where she looks jacked. She clearly has freak genetics for building muscle. Of course she could be juicing, but this is not as cut and dry as you make it out to be.

It is very disappointing to hear you say that. Every now and then, when a female athlete comes out and performs far better than her competitors (both technique and weight wise) everyone jumps in to offer their "kind" comment and doubt them. You see men athlete lifting weights beyond imagination for decades and they are heros. Let's just appreciate what these athletes are doing and applause them. You don't get where they are only by drinking "juice". There is so much more going on. At least a decade long training. I challenge you to even try to get to that level and then offer your suggestions. I guarantee you, you would quit on day 2. Well done Sofigrit. You go girl.

She gets a Norwegian Stipend to be able to do her sport professionally. One of the notes inn that contract is regular testing by Norways Wada approved anti doping agency. They get regularly tested throughout the entire year. With randomized visits.
@christopherroberts25002 жыл бұрын
@@larsm3336 Literally means nothing, don't be naive. Lance Armstrong passed what, 200 tests by the top doping agencies, administered by the premier sporting anti-doping scientists of his day. Never pissed hot. If this girl is on gear (which is a 99.99% likehood,) she's not gonna get caught unless she plays the politics badly.
